WOMEN’S CLUB NEWSLETTER
Volume 74, Issue 1 website: wings.buffalo.edu/org/womens October 2015
From the President. . .
Our 70th year has begun!
Our New Member Reception was a huge success. We welcomed many new members to our Club. The tour of Kapoor Hall was fabulous, along with the refreshments, and informational presentations from our activities representatives. Thank you to Julia Cohan and Kim O’Donnell for this wonderful reception.
By the time you read this message our Fall Luncheon will have taken place at the Twentieth Century Club. Thank you to Debra Berger for stepping in as MC for me as I had a prior commitment. Also thanks to Andrea Borgioli and Barbara Kaye for chairing this event, along with all the members who helped by attending the event. Please mark your calendars for our events listed in the tri-fold, watch the newsletters and your e-mail for more information on the events. I’m looking forward to another great year! Remember, UB students benefit from all our events! Betty Schaertel
Important Trifold Information
By this time, all U.B. Women Club members should
have received the new Trifold for our 70th year. We
have so much to look forward to in the coming year!
There are two errors in the Trifold. Please make the
following corrections: The Dinner and Wine Tasting is
on Friday, February 5th and the Chinese Banquet is on
Sunday, March 13th. Don’t forget to mark all of our
events on your calendars!
