Takeaways
15
ü Support a more diverse NTT, starting with gender diversity to support females to stay and grow in the workplace – ensuring it is business-results driven, not diversity for the sake of getting women ahead. Needs clear executive leadership & messaging.
ü Overcoming/helping others overcome unconscious biases; although well intentioned… let the women make their own decisions
ü Getting others into the spotlight - On a daily basis, make a difference – ie – assigning qualified women to the stretch assignments/getting women to take those stretch assignments (or roles), mentoring
ü Getting men aware and involved

Women in Tech Leadership @ TMForum

What can we do?
u Promote more women to be visible – such as join the catalysts, present their work, have their skills recognized, recommend to sit on panels, etc.
u Networking opportunities – finding a role model that fits you
u Outcomes should be measured on its positive business value, and not for the numbers for women’s advancement
