Women in STEM Summit
OverviewABOUT THE EVENT
#WomeninSTEM
Why AttendABOUT THE EVENT
Women have never been in a stronger position to lead, change and shape the economic, social and political landscape and the 21st century has seen a dramatic shift in the "traditional" family dynamic. Yet, within the STEM industries, we are still experiencing huge gender imbalance and high attrition rates.
This summit will look at the unique challenges facing females executives, entrepreneurs and students and at the forces that have the potential to reshape the industry for years to come.
Throughout the two days, expect to hear from executives at world-leading brands, who will share insight into their personal journey to the top and demonstrate how, through aligning passion and power, you can instigate change. Take part in interactive workshops, where you will learn how to create an inclusive working environment and break down stereotypes which underline certain expectations about gender. Participate in problem swaps and interactive panel sessions with fellow female entrepreneurs on how to overcome common barriers when launching and scaling a business. How can we use our unique talents and resources to fuel success? Our inclusive summit will also provide strategic insight into empowering the next generation by providing a platform for executive leaders to interact with students and young professionals.
Our goal is to highlight female role models in the industry, encourage knowledge exchange and networking; and, of course, to have fun!
Trailblazers, pioneers, inspirational figures and industry thought leaders, this year’s carefully crafted line-up includes:
