FALL 2018 PROGRAMS The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum will be closed until fall 2019 for the construction of a major expansion. Architectural Tour: Houses Designed by Isadore Shank Tuesday, March 13, 10a Women and the Kemper members are invited to tour a collection of homes designed by renowned Modernist architect Isadore Shank (1902–1992). The architect’s legacy of some 140 designs consists primarily of single-family residences but also includes significant public and institutional commissions. Women and the Kemper | AboutOpen to members of the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, Women and the Kemper is a special-interest group committed to promoting the mission of the Museum and encouraging women’s participation in all aspects of the visual arts. Women and the Kemper was founded in 2009 by the Women’s Society of Washington University, the Woman’s Club of Washington University, and the Kemper Art Museum.
