In 2009, the Waterloo Wolves first teamed up with Hero to Hero. Hero to Hero is a non-political or-ganization that matches emergency services personnel and sports teams with Canadian troops serving overseas.
The personnel or teams from Canada send autographed shirts and other goodies to the troops, show-ing their support for the members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
At home games in January 2013, there will be a “Waterloo Wolves Support the Troops” banner availa-ble to be signed by players, coaching staff, family members and fans.
On Monday, January 28, 2013 at 7:00pm, there will be a special pre-game ceremony where the Wolves will be presenting their donations to representatives from Hero to Hero.
At 7:30pm the puck will drop for another exciting Wolves game when Cambridge comes to town. Go Wolves GO!

Congratulations Willy!
Midget Operating Committee 2012-2013
Congratulations to the Chair of the Waterloo
Wolves, Willy Huber, on being presented
with a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee
Medal.
This new commemorative medal was created
to mark the 2012 celebrations of the 60th
anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of
Canada.
The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee
Medal is a tangible way for Canada to hon-
our Her Majesty for her service to this coun-
