CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY THE COMMISSION
1. Types of certificate
The Commission issues four types of certificate as a token of its thanks for service in support of the Commission. Certificates issued at CBS-16 recognize contributions for the intersessional period 2012-2016.
1.1 Recognition of outstanding contributions to the work of the Commission by individuals
A limited number of individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the work of the Commission are presented with a certificate of outstanding contribution. This type of certificate may be issued for a single outstanding contribution or for sustained contributions throughout a long period. These certificates contain a citation specific to the individual.
1.2 Recognition of leadership contributions to the work of the Commission by individuals
Individuals who have taken on leadership roles in the Commission, either formally through leading a CBS team, or informally by providing technical leadership, are presented with a certificate that recognizes their leadership.
1.3 Recognition of contributions to the work of the Commission
All experts who contributed to the work of the Commission but who do not receive an "outstanding" or "leadership" certificate are presented with a certificate recognizing their contribution.
1.4 Recognition of contributions to the work of the Commission by Members and cooperating organizations
The Commission issues certificates to Members and international organizations that provided experts to support the work of the Commission during the intersessional period 2012-2016.
