CVMFS project news
• CVMFS version with NFS export– Tested at DESY, SIGNET, SFU
• 300 WNs, 4k parallel jobs (DESY), 2k cores (SIGNET)• Runs very stable • Network eventually loaded
– To be released in production latest next week• Currently open issues, under investigation
– Make distinction between T1/2 at a site sharing compute resources (CMS)
– Two sites with lustre shared software area and need to run in disk-less mode (ATLAS)

Deployment Reminder
• ATLAS & LHCb have set a deployment target date
– After that date no new software will be installed in the “old shared software areas”
• CMS strongly recommends deployment at all supporting sites
• ALICE about to join the deployment effort in early 2013
