Modernization kits for doors Wittur offers a range of modernization kits for doors which are designed to replace specifi c products of the most popular manufacturers. Each kit includes all necessary components as well as special connecting parts. Therefore additional on-site adaptations are not required, which enables the modernization of existing installations to be fast and easy.

A variety of solutions are available for each door model: from simple substitution of operator or mechanism to full replacement of the door. Wittur modernization kits feature improved door performance, reliability and safety. By applying the newest materials and technologies a signifi cantly lower energy consumption is being realized. Our modernization packages comply with current norms and directives. Kits according to fi re resistance EN 81-58 certifi cation and EN 81-71 vandal resistant certifi cation are also available.

A wide range of fi nishes facilitate to match our components with the look of the building. The complete documentation as well as the packaging is optimized for an easy and quick installation.

DrivesModernization kits for drives include special design bedplates that can be adjusted according to original system geometry. The Wittur D-Pack drive modernization kit includes a Wittur gearless drive coupled with Wittur GLD frequency inverter for a very fast installation and optimization phase as well as for a higher stopping accuracy of the car.

Safety componentsSafety modernization kits are compliant with current norms and directives and are also available including unintended car movement (EN 81 conform), ascending overspeed or earthquake resistance.

CarsCar modernization kits are available to comply with accessibility norms.

Complete elevatorsWittur also developed a complete elevator replacement solution: The MRM W Line is an elevator package designed for optimal use of existing space, reduced pit and headroom and high energy effi ciency.

Vario-Coupler*The Vario-Coupler concept is a very fl exible coupler system developed for elevator modernization projects.

Its patented design, based on Wittur long experience in the fi eld, allows fl exible position and distance of the coupler elements according to the design of the landing doors.

The Vario-Coupler concept can thus be used for nearly all landing doors with hook-type lock system in the door mechanism. The Vario-Coupler concept is equipped with a car door lock according to EN 81-20/50; no

modifi cations to the original landing doors are required.

A special execution with an additional bracket and a 20 mm sill extension on the car side allows installation also with special landing door designs with a very short distance between the hook lock rollers.

Additionally we offer our customers a bespoke measurement tool to determine very easily the functional dimension of the installed landing doors. These dimensions can be directly used for the adjustment of the

coupler vanes.

Wittur modernization kits feature improved door performance, reliability and safety. By applying the newest materials and technologies a signifi cantly lower energy consumption is being realized. Our modernization packages comply with current norms and directives. Kits according to fi re resistance EN 81-58 certifi cation and EN 81-71 vandal resistant certifi cation are also available.

A wide range of fi nishes facilitate to match our components with the look of the building. The complete documentation as well as the packaging is optimized for an easy and quick installation.

DrivesModernization kits for drives include special design bedplates that can be adjusted according to original system geometry. The Wittur D-Pack drive modernization kit includes a Wittur gearless drive coupled with Wittur GLD frequency inverter for a very fast installation and optimization phase as well as for a higher stopping accuracy of the car.

Safety componentsSafety modernization kits are compliant with current norms and directives and are also available including unintended car movement (EN 81 conform), ascending overspeed or earthquake resistance.

CarsCar modernization kits are available to comply with accessibility norms.

Complete elevatorsWittur also developed a complete elevator replacement solution: The MRM W Line is an elevator package designed for optimal use of existing space, reduced pit and headroom and high energy effi ciency.

Vario-Coupler*The Vario-Coupler concept is a very fl exible coupler system developed for elevator modernization projects.

Its patented design, based on Wittur long experience in the fi eld, allows fl exible position and distance of the coupler elements according to the design of the landing doors.

The Vario-Coupler concept can thus be used for nearly all landing doors with hook-type lock system in the door mechanism. The Vario-Coupler concept is equipped with a car door lock according to EN 81-20/50; no

modifi cations to the original landing doors are required.

A special execution with an additional bracket and a 20 mm sill extension on the car side allows installation also with special landing door designs with a very short distance between the hook lock rollers.

Additionally we offer our customers a bespoke measurement tool to determine very easily the functional dimension of the installed landing doors. These dimensions can be directly used for the adjustment of the

coupler vanes.
