Before The Trial In this time you will be given 90 minutes to search

through the problem and highlight relevant legal issues. Once this period is completed, you will be given 30 minutes to consult with your witness. In this period you should: Outline to the witness how you intend to deal with

the case; How the evidence will be adduced; and Discuss how the evidence will be put forward to the

witness and discuss with that witness what emphasis will be placed on various aspects of it.

Who can be my Witness? Any law student can be your witness Usually it’s a good idea to try a 1st or 2nd

year student as they cannot compete themselves but may want an insight into the comp.
