TOPS• TOPS is the Taylor Opportunity Program
for Students that provides Louisiana high school graduates meeting specific eligibility requirements with a scholarship if they choose to attend a Louisiana public college

End of Course/LEAP2025• To earn a standard high school diploma,
students must earn a score of Approaching Basic or better on three End-of-Course tests, including one in each category:
• Algebra I or Geometry• English I or English II • Biology or U.S. History
End of Course tests
• Students who earn a score of Unsatisfactory may receive 30 hours of remediation in the course and are eligible to retake the test at the next administration.
• End-of-Course tests comprise 15% of the student’s final grade in the subject.

Diploma pathway (Art, Drama, Piano, Choir, Fine Arts Survey, Percussion, Band, or Orchestra)
• You must have 1 ½ years of PE and Health or 2 full years of JROTC. If you have less than 2 full years of JROTC, you will need to take Health. Football, Track, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Soccer, Pep Squad, and Cheer will all count towards a PE credit, but you will still need a Health credit!

courses for you.• Once you have turned your folder in on time, you
may fill out counselor request form in front office if you have questions about the courses you chose or changed your mind.
• Courses can not be changed after May 8th.
