AJLI recommended that the title “Provisional” be changed to “New Member”. In accordance with this recommendation, the Membership Council presented it to the Communications Council / Bylaws Chair for review. The Communications Council proposed the change to the JLCC Board at the August Board meeting. It was approved by the board to be presented to the active membership for a vote at the membership meeting on Wednesday, September 23. The vote passed 62 to 11. It’s official… we now have “New Members”.
