PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Warm greetings and welcome to Shri Krishnaswamy Matric Higher Secondary School, Villivakkam.
I would like to welcome the parent and students to our school. It is my sincere desire that your association
with our school to be a happy and rewarding experience. We want school to be the best part of student’s life and the
place where parents feel welcome and involved. Now we are missing our students in the school but by virtual platform
and through online classes we enjoy their fun-filled activities, competitive spirit in displaying their talents, exhibiting
academic skills and to keep themselves fit and active.
We are very proud of our students and staff for achieving excellent results in X, XI and XII board exams.
(2019 – 2020).
I look forward to be collaborating with this great community as we work together to make sure every
students has a great year ahead though it is an unexpected situation. As we embark on a new school year, it is very
important to ensure that the children are involved in all our school activities during these days. Students attendance
through online is also important because we want the students to succeed just as much as we do here in our school.
I look forward on seeing our students growing and achieving at high rates.
Under the guidance and leadership of our school management and with
dedicated staff, I will work hard to bring up students by overall means by building strong
relationship with parents, students, staff and community partners. Every month end a
newsletter will be uploaded in our school website. We would like all of you to read and enjoy.

Greetings to all.
I thank our Management for the special edition of NEWSLETTER from our school. In this pandemic situation, we have celebrated many virtual functions
starting with Investiture Ceremony. I am proud to mention that we have produced very good result in Board Examinations. Dear students,
Education is the tool which provide platform to acquire knowledge. Education without values is like a ship without a navigator.
You are the cream of this generation, the rulers and makers of tomorrow. The future of nation and safety of culture and tradition depends on you.
Your parents are taking special care by inculcating moral values and discipline along the bestowing values aligned to the vision of the school.
The aim of education is to promote yourself for challenging life.
I wish all my students to concentrate on your studies through ON-LINE classes sincerely and prepare for
Examination with self-confidence.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY
first celebration in our school. It is usually
scheduled in the beginning of every academic
year. Investiture ceremony is one of the most
important event in our school. “Leaders are not born but are
made by their experiences in life “ To inculcate the leadership qualities in the
students and to give them a feel of functioning
of the administrative body a school prefectorial
board was formed after scrutinous interviewing
and selection. The investiture ceremony for the academic
year 2020-21 was held on Aug-7 in virtual
platform.
Thousands laid down their lives so that our country can
celebrate this day. Never forget their sacrifices.
We remember with gratitude the countless freedom fighters
and revolutionaries who struggled, strived and made heroic sacrifices
to win us our freedom from colonial rule.

BYJUS
Byjus provides the learning facilities for the students from
class III to XII during this pandemic situation. It enhances the
students way of learning by preparing graduates for future
competitive exams. It makes the students process of learning
from to active. Byjus also makes the students to become self-
initiated passive learners.
Onam festival unites everyone from all communities in Kerala
irrespective of their religion and caste. It is one amongst the most popular
festivals in India and celebrated with great pomp. The activities during this
festival season are popular all over the country such as Onam Vallamkali
(boat races) and Onam Sadhya (food). This harvest festival usually falls
between the end of August and beginning of September during the Malayalam
month Chingam.
NIE
Times Newspaper in Education (NIE) is a novel program that helps the
students to ‘stay ahead’ and aims at making ‘Learning Fun’. It introduces
concepts that help individual growth and development. It empower students with
new cutting – edge knowledge through various educative and informative
activities. It truly gives a new dimension of education by fostering the simple habit
of reading which in turn paves the way for a confidence that boosts the child’s
passion for learning while revealing hidden talent.
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DAYS
International and national days are a good entry for teaching and learning values and priorities. Schools thereby strengthen the awareness of their teachers and students about significant global issues and reach out to their communities. Special days and weeks are important events to enhance our academic program and for students to better understand their world.
