Mechanical Breakdown Protection(OPTIONAL COVERAGE)

When you purchase a Kia Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, you are choosing quality you can trust at a price you can afford. Kia vehicles are solidly built with leading technology, but inevitably, even the most well engineered vehicles will require repairs.

The Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) optional upgrade covers many costly vehicle components that can potentially fail over time by adding up to 4 years and 80,000 km of coverage after your manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED PLAN

The MBP plan designed exclusively for Kia Certified Pre-Owned vehicles offers supreme 5 Star level protection for total peace of mind. All components are covered except for a select list of exclusions.

Besides exceptional coverage to protect your vehicle, MBP comes complete with an array of additional benefits:

24 HOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCEYou are covered for events such as towing, winching, battery boost, fuel delivery, tire change and lockout service.

TRIP INTERRUPTIONYou are entitled to reimbursement of lodging and meal expenses if your covered vehicle breaks down while you are on a road trip and repairs last overnight ($100 per day, up to $300 per repair visit).

RENTAL BENEFITYou are entitled to a replacement car while your vehicle is being repaired ($50 per day, up to $200 per repair visit).

TRANSFERABLEIf you sell your vehicle, MBP is transferable to the next private owner.
