This evening’s silent auction is brought to you by BidPal, a
company dedicated to improving charitable fundraising events.
Thesilentauctionwillopenat6p.m.,andwillclose15minutes
after the live auction ends.
Check out a BidPal device from the registration area, register
and bid for silent auction candidates on your device throughout
theevening.You’llbeabletofindinformationaboutthe
executives on the device. Winning bidders will be notified on
their device as soon as the silent auction closes. Do not forget
to return your BidPal device, or you will be charged.
Live Auction
To participate in the live auction, you must register at the tables
located near the main entrance upon arrival. At that time, you
will receive a bid number and corresponding paddle, which you
may use to bid on any package during the live auction. If you
are the highest bidder of an auction, a bid runner will come to
you to collect contact and billing information.
Check-Out Process
When bidding has concluded, you will be informed on your
BidPal device if you have won, and winners will also be posted
on the main screen. In an effort to make the check-out process
moreefficient,youdonothavetocheckoutattheevent.You
will receive an invoice for any bids you have won within 1-2
business days, with the option to pay by check or credit card.
Payment must be received in full by July 16, 2013 or we will
proceed to the next highest bidder to set up a meeting with
the candidate.
Connecting with Your Auction Candidate(s)
No contact information for the auction candidate will be
provided until payment has been received in full. Auction
candidates will not schedule meetings with the winning
bidders until WIT has notified them that payment has been
received. Once full payment has been received, WIT will
contact the auction candidate(s) with the winning bidder’s
contact information, and the winning bidder will be copied
on this communication, within one week of payment receipt.
At that point, it is the responsibility of the winning bidder to
contact the auction candidate(s) to schedule their meeting.
Winning bidders should contact their auction candidate(s) no
later than August 1, 2013. After that time, WIT has no further
responsibility to assist you with connecting with the auction
candidate(s).
