- DC7774 ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS - White - Cut one piece 8½” wide x 10½” high. This will act as your 16th panel.- Cut 8 strips 3” x WOF. Subcut the first 4 WOFs each to 2 pieces (3” x 15½”) and 1 piece (3” x 13½”). Subcut the second 4 WOFs each to 1 piece (3” x 15½”) and 2 pieces (3” x 13½”). Subcut to 6 pieces (3” x 4½”) and 5 (3” squares). You will have afew 3” squares left over at the end.

Piecing Instructions:All seam allowances are 1/4”.

Making Half Square Triangles: Using all 64 white and 64 colored 3½” squares, with right sides together (RST), place 2(3½” squares) together (one white and one colored) and draw a diagonal line (with a pencil) from one corner to another. Use thisline as a guide to sew a ¼” seam down one side of the line. Turn your square around and repeat down the other side of the line.Cut directly along the pencil line, resulting in two new squares when opened. Press the seams open. Place the acrylic rulerontop of the sewn square, lining up the ruler corner with the square corner & the seam line with the 45° line. (The accuracy ofthis step is important for perfectly matched corners when piecing the quilt). Make sure you will be left with a minimum 3” square.Trim 2 sides with your rotary cutter. Spin ruler around, again aligning the seam line with the 45° line. Trim the other 2 sides, leav-ing a perfect 3” square.
