The famous South Downs Way, loved by walkers, cyclists and horse riders stretches the entire 160 km length of the park and follows the ridge of the South Downs from Winchester in Hampshire through West Sussex to the white chalk cliffs of Beachy Head, Nr Eastbourne in East Sussex. There are car parks along the route and bicycles can be hired easily to explore further.
Discover ancient woodlands and enjoy spectacular views as you explore open downland, heaths and cliff tops. Within these landscapes lie bustling market towns and peaceful rural villages, historic houses and the remains of ancient settlements.
