Evening with Industry is offered in conjunction with the Career Center's Fall Career Day. A dinner and
networking event, Evening with Industry takes place the evening before Career Day and gives companies
an opportunity to network with students.

WIRED is a Colorado School of Mines, event developed to facilitate employer branding on campus and t o assist students with their career development. Co‐sponsored by the Mines Multicultural Engineering Program and the Mines Career Center, this is an excellent opportunity for employer representatives to meet one-on-one with Mines students, as well as showcase your initiatives in promoting diversity within your organization. With your company strategies, and general professional communication, WIRED is an enjoyable opportunity for recruiters to further enhance your organization’s name as students spread the word of your generous help. Open to the entire student body, this inclusive event is well-appreciated by the participants.
Schedule of Events:
11:00 -11:30 am: Employer Arrival *Buffet Lunch Provided
11:45am: Employer Welcome and Brief Overview
12:00pm‐4:00pm: One-on-One Sessions with Students
Students will visit your table and ask for assistance, typically in the area of: 30 Second Self-Introduction and Booth Approach Resume Critiques General Success at Career Day
Sessions are scheduled for 20 minutes for each student. This short timeframe is to ensure multiple students will be well-prepared to meet with recruiting professionals at Career Day. Student sessions are not degree specific, you may be talking with students from multiple disciplines, who will further spread your company’s good name.
