Introducing WinZip® 16

WinZip® 16 provides industry-leading tools and a high performance compression engine that helps you save file storage space, share files instantly, protect your data with confidence, and connect with clients, colleaques, friends, and family members. With the introduction of two exciting new services — ZipSend™, a web service for file sharing, and ZipShare™, a file sharing app for Facebook® — WinZip 16 continues its evolution by expanding into data sharing.

What’s new in WinZip® 16?

WinZip 16 introduces two exciting new services — ZipSend™, a web service for file sharing, and ZipShare™, a file sharing app for Facebook®. WinZip 16 also includes native support for 64-bit processors, so you can take full advantage of your computer’s processing power.

New! ZipSend™: This new web service helps you send large files fast and securely, without being restricted by the often inadequate file size limits of email servers. ZipSend is fully integrated with WinZip 16, so you can work within the familiar WinZip interface. In addition, you can use your regular email acount to send your zipped files.

With ZipSend, you can email up to 50MB of zipped data at anytime. For users with even greater data sharing requirements, upgrading to a ZipSend Pro account gives you the ability to email up to 2GB of zipped data. In addition, you can choose to secure your zipped files using WinZip’s strong 256-bit AES encryption.

ZipSend is the fastest way to send large files.

New! ZipShare™: This new file sharing app lets you zip files and post up to 20MB of data directly to Facebook. ZipShare makes it simple and fast to share any file with your Facebook friends, protect your original photo and video content from modification, and even post files directly to your Facebook groups.

With a single click, you can access ZipShare from the WinZip interface. You can upload any file type directly to your Facebook wall, and you can zip files of various sizes and formats into a single post on Facebook. In addition, your ZipShare account provides up to 100MB of file storage space.

New! Native 64-bit support: With new support for 64-bit processors, WinZip 16 taps into your computer’s full processing power to compress your files faster than ever before.

• password-protect files as you zip with WinZip’s strong AES encryption

• define your own unique password policies for WinZip to enforce
