Synopsis: While working an OT assignment the subject was creating a problem in the student section. Officer observed the subject exchange words with a student and climbing over seats and rails back to his seat. Officer made contact with the subject and he was advised he would have to leave the coliseum and he was escorted out. A short time later the subject re-appeared the subject was acting very disorderly after being warned numerous times. The subject was placed under arrest and during so the subject began to struggle with the officer. Subject was arrested and taken to the RHLC for booking.

Synopsis: Officers responded in reference to the odor of alcohol emanating from Room 232. Officer made contact with the four subjects. Subject 1 advised she and her quest had been drinking earlier. A short time later, the officer made contact with subject 4 who was highly intoxicated and requested EMS. All four subjects were issued State Citations and will be referred to the Winthrop University Office of Judicial Affairs.

Synopsis: While on patrol the officer observed the subject asleep in his vehicle that was parked in the #1 lane of Cherry Rd. Officer made contact with the subject and detected the odor of alcoholic beverage on the subject. The subject was very slow to react to the officers commands. Subject was given several field sobriety tests which he failed and the subject was arrested. While completing inventory on the subject’s vehicle, the officer located a loaded 40 Smith & Wesson on the passenger side seat, open beer cans. Due to the subjects criminal history the subject was charged with the pistol violations.

Synopsis: Officer met with the victim’s father in reference to him nor her mother having contact with her for several days. The complainant has been trying to contact her and the victim will not return or answer their calls or texts. Officer investigated and was able to determine the subject had swiped her card at Markley’s and also at Margaret Nance. After speaking with the parents further it appears the victim may be upset with them. The victim does not appear to have left under distress, or force. Synopsis: Subject was at court for a scheduled court date for Public Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest and was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine. The subjects mother paid the fine and as they were leaving court the subject made obscene remarks out loud at which time the judge stated that due to the subjects actions he was to be taken into custody and given 30 days at the YC Prison Farm for Contempt of Court. Synopsis: While on patrol the officer observed the subjects vehicle displaying a SC issued permanent government license tag and thought it was odd. The officer ran the plate and the plate should have been displayed on a different vehicle that it was on belonging to YC Government. Officer conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the subject. The subject stated she had recently signed the vehicle over to YC and was given the license plate. Further investigation revealed the subject had gotten the plate from Brattonsville. The subject was arrested and after further investigation a warrant was issued for the subject for Receiving/Possession of Stolen Goods.

Victim stated that she was walking to Margaret Nance from Starbucks when the subject, who was on a bike approached her and advised her to give him all her stuff. The victim put up a struggle and threw her phone and wallet under a vehicle. The subject showed a handgun to the victim, dropped it and retrieved it. The officer observed in plain view a gray piece of plastic with marijuana on it. Synopsis: Officer responded in reference to a subject who was yelling obscenities and banging on people’s doors. The officer arrived and found the subject lying in the floor. The officer tried speaking with the subject, but he was incoherent and was muttering under his breath and incoherent sentences. The subject appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and possibly hallucinating. The subject continued to be disorderly and was placed under arrest. The subject resisted police and had to be physically removed from the building. The officer observed a red container in the subject’s room and a piece of aluminum foil with perforated squares that were similar to that of acid or LSD delivery system. At this point, the narcotic case was turned over to the York County Multijurisdictional Unit.

The student also found to what appeared to be a pistol in the bag. The officer recovered the items and will make contact with Cherokee County.

Synopsis: The officer was flagged down in reference to a male subject passed out behind the wheel of a black BMW. The officer observed the subject at the intersection asleep with his foot on the brake. The officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officer woke the subject up who stated he was tired from moving all day. The subject stated there was some marijuana in the vehicle. While searching the subject the officer located a cigarette box containing 2 Alprazolam bars. Also found was a small baggie of marijuana and a small plastic bag containing 15 Oxycodone pills. The subject was arrested and taken to the RHLC for booking.

The officer tried to explain that the jump box does not always jump a vehicle off and gave her information on contact Interstate for help. Synopsis: Officer responded in reference to a welfare check and a student having suicidal thoughts. The officer was unable to make contact. With the assistance of RHPD the area was searched. The officer was notified later by the student’s mother that she was with the complainant in NC. The officer contacted the local agency in NC and had them conducted a welfare check. The victim appeared to be fine.

Synopsis: Officer responded in reference to four subjects being on the tin portion of the roof. Officer made contact with the subjects and advised them to come down. Three of the subjects were students and one was a visitor. They stated they were “bored”.

Synopsis: Officer responded in reference to a group of students were being loud and using obscene language. Subjects had been asked for their id’s by the library security and would not comply. Subjects ID’s were collected and they left the library for the evening.

Synopsis: Officer responded in reference to the possibility of drug activity. Officer met with the witness and then the subject. After an investigation the subject was arrested and charged with the above charges and taken to the RHLC for booking.

Synopsis: Officer met with the complainant in reference to a subject who was parking illegally in his parking lot. The victim left a note asking the subject not to. The victim observed the subject read the note and throw it down on the ground. The officer made contact with the subject and advised her to not park there.
