Winterfest celebrations and events dis-play our sense of adventure and fun, as well as the pride we have for our commu-nity, culture and environment. Congratulations to the Winterfest com-mittee, and all its volunteers, sponsors and participants, for being part of such an important community event. Now, let’s get out and have some fun! As Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador and MHA for the District of Humber-Gros Morne, it gives me the great pleasure to welcome everyone to the 2020 Deer Lake Winterfest.
As we gather to participate in Winter-fest 2020 and celebrate this year’s theme, “Winterfest - because there's “snow” other way to do it” I encour-age all residents of the community to partake in the activities which the organizing committee has planned for us this year.
A sincere thank you to the sponsors and volunteers. Your ongoing com-mitment is what makes Winterfest such a success year after year. Be-cause of the enthusiasm and energy that you have demonstrated in orga-nizing this years’ program, our fami-lies and our community have the op-portunity to enjoy all the fun the win-ter months have to offer.
I wish you all the best for an en-joyable and memorable Winter-fest!
Hon. Dwight Ball, Premier MHA Humber - Gros Morne
