Day 1Leaving the Valley, we will follow theRio Grande River north on a comfort-able, restroom equipped, climate con-trolled motor coach.  We will pass thruRio Grande City, home of Fort Ring-gold.  A bit further down the road wewill encounter Roma, where Zapatawas filmed.  We will continue pastLaredo and Carrizo Springs on theway to Del Rio.  Lunch along the way.Tonight will be spent in a comfortablehotel.Day 2After breakfast today, we will head offto Seminole Canyon, then Langtry,where Judge Roy Bean was known as“the law west of the Pecos” in the1880s. You will want to have your cam-era ready today.Arriving at Big Bend, the first thing wewill see is Hallie’s Hall of Fame Mu-seum.  The museum is a tribute to Hal-lie Stillwell, who was a pioneer womanin the old West.  Admire antique ranchand farm equipment and learn thestory of a pioneer ranch family in theBig Bend region.Entering the Chisos Basin will allowyou to admire the beauty of Big Bend’smajestic rock formations.  Here youare far from the city and if you arequiet, you may well observe wild lifearound you.  Have a good meal tonightand sleep well, because tomorrow willbring much more of the beauty of BigBend National Park.Day 3Today, we explore beautiful Big Bendin more detail.  We will go to PantherJunction, where a short looping leveltrail will help you to identify manyplants that are common in the park.We will take the Ross Maxwell ScenicDrive to let you see more of the beautyof the park interior.  We will head downto the Rio Grande River and the fa-mous Santa Elena Canyon, possiblythe park’s best known natural wonder.You may take a short walk into the

canyon to view the spectacular canyonwalls closing in on the Rio GrandeRiver.  We will enjoy a picnic lunch atthe Cottonwood Campground, and wewill visit Castolon Historic Compound,a cavalry encampment during PonchoVilla’s timeDay 4We will visit Boquillas Canyon today,driving along a very scenic route.  Nextwe will see the ghost town of Terlin-qua.  Terlinqua  ceases to be a ghosttown once each year during their an-nual chili cookoff , an event that bringsthousands of people to the area.  Thenwe will go to Lajitas, a privately ownedtown.  We will pass thru Alpine, homeof Sul Ross University.  When we ar-rive in Fort Stockton, you will be ableto visit the Annie  Riggs Museum andthe old fort.  We will also visit the St.Genevieve Winery and sample theirwines.Day 5We will visit the highly acclaimed  Cav-erns of Sonora today.  It has beencalled the most beautiful cavern in theworld.  Next sit back and enjoy thescenery of the fantastic Texas HillCountry as we travel through a num-ber of small towns to Uvalde, oncehome to former Vice President JohnNance Garner.  Tonight’s entertain-ment will be a wonderful performanceby the Sahawe Indian Dancers.Day 6Today, we plan to visit The MesquiteFactory, an unusual one man opera-tion that makes impressive mesquiterocking chairs and tables.  Then weplan to visit the home of the afore-mentioned John Vance Gardner be-fore pointing our motor coach back tothe Rio Grande Valley.  As you relaxfor the comfortable ride home, you willhave great memories (and hopefullysome wonderful pictures) of all the ex-citing and beautiful places you havebeen.

Galveston: When explored by Eu-ropeans the Island was an Akok-isa site. It was used by theKarankawa tribe for hunting andfishing. During the Texas revolu-tion, the harbour served as theport for the Texas Navy. Earlyyears gave the city many firsts inTexas: First Roman CatholicConvent, first electrical light, andthe first Medical College. In 1900the entire Island was inundatedduring a hurricane which claimedmore than 6000 lives. A seawallten miles long was built two yearslater. Galveston Island offers 32miles of beach and is a treasuretrove of things historically Texan.It is the home of the University ofTexas Medical Branch, TexasA&M University of Galveston andGalveston College.

Day 1Our first class motor coach willpick you up from your park (mini-mum of 6 people required) andwe will be driving to Galveston thebeautiful coastal Island. Stop forbreakfast and lunch on our way toGalveston will be a Dutch treat onyour own. We are planning to ar-rive in Galveston by 5 pm. We willdo a hotel check-in. Ready toleave the hotel by 6 pm to go forthe Mardi Gras celebration. Ourmotor coach will take us to the ac-tion and a great view of the pa-rade. We will stop for dinner at anice restaurant before returning toour hotel for a good nights sleep.

Day 2Breakfast at your hotel is includedand then we are ready to exploreGalveston Island’s importantsites and scenes and sounds ofparades. Two churches to visitGrace Episcopal Church foundedin 1874, and 1st Lutheran Churchfounded in 1850. We will take youto enjoy the Bolivar Ferry ride be-tween Galveston and Port BolivarTX- 87. Ferries are a part of theTexas Highway System. Our sec-ond stop will be to visit the Galve-ston County Historical Museum.Lunch will be on your own andrecommended by your localguide. Your guide will give youtime to walk on the beach for anice romantic moment. We will re-turn to the hotel by 4 pm. Relaxfor two hours and be ready to seemore parade in the Mardi GrasPerformances. Dinner will be afterthe show (on your own). After din-ner we will return to the hotel.

Day 3Breakfast at your hotel is in-cluded. Checkout will be afterbreakfast. We will view the GreatStorm: Award- winning multi-image presentation using histori-cal photographs and specialeffects to recreate the aftermathof the 1900 hurricane that devas-tated Galveston (27 minutes).After the presentation we will goshopping for one hour beforeleaving Galveston to return home.Stop for lunch on our way. Returnhome by 8 p.m. with memories ofa fun time.

Gladys Porter Zoo: Unique zoologi-cal park features animals living inopen exhibits surrounded by naturalflowing water ways, more than 1390specimens representing about 360species, 43 of which are listed as en-dangered. Day 1We will leave the Valley on our climatecontrolled, restroom equipped motorcoach and head deep into the scenicTexas hill country.  We are heading forMountain Home, to see the world fa-mous Y.O. Ranch. We are going to get aranch hand guided tour of the land.  Ex-pect to see Texas long horn cattle, aswell as some more exotic animals like gi-raffes, ostriches, zebras and ibex roam-ing the land freely.Afterward, we will have dinner at theChuckwagon.  We will be joined by theranch owners & ranch hands for somegreat “cowboy” fixings.  Later we willhead to our hotel for a good night’ssleep.Day 2Today we will travel to the studios ofJames Avery,  a well know artist whoworks in silver and gold.  He started outin his garage way back in the mid fifties.Now almost every adult person knows

his name. There will be a reception at the CowboyArtists of America Museum in your honoras Pete Davis, who is a noted cowboypoet will make the American cowboycome to life.  You will have a guided tourof the art galleries that will further ex-plore the life of the American cowboy inthe West, using the mediums of oil, wa-tercolor, alabaster, and even bronze.Dinner tonight will be in the pretty Ger-man town of Fredericksburg. After din-ner, we will drive over to Johnson City,where we will enjoy their Lights Spec-tacular display.  Your will be dazzled byover ½ million twinkling Christmas lights.Day 3Today, we will go to the Hyatt Hill Coun-try Resort outside of San Antonio.  Herewe will enjoy a bountiful Christmasbrunch  surrounded by Christmas andcowboy style decorations, then relax andenjoy a comfortable ride back to the Val-ley.

ese Garden of Peace,  the Plaza of Presi-dents, the George Bush Gallery of the Pa-cific War, the Memorial Walk and thePacific Combat Zone. We will also visit the Pioneer Complex  thatshows how the early settlers lived as theytamed Texas.  There is an 1849 pioneerhome, a general store, a smokehouse,blacksmith shop,  along with a volunteerFire Department Museum and old school-house.  Of course, shopping is excellent inhistoric Fredericksburg with many uniqueand exclusive items.  We will return to yourhotel in San Antonio for the night.Day 3Sunday church services will be held at thebeautiful San Jose, the “Queen of the Mis-sions.”  We will also visit the Nuestra de laPurisima Conception, build in 1731.  Youwill learn how the early mission Fathersand their flock lived in the past, as theyhelped shape the history of Texas.We will return back to the Valley in theevening.

USS Lexington Museum on the Bay 

The  USS  Lexington  is  one  of  the

most  decorated  aircraft  carriers  in

the US Naval history.

The USS Lexington was named the

Blue Ghost because in WWII it was

reported sunk four times, but always

returned to fight again.

After  touring  the museum you can

watch a great film in the four story

mega theater

You can visit  the gift shop and the

food court.

The Art Museum of South Texas

Designed  by  Phillip  Johnson,  the

building itself constitutes one of the

works of art here, with dramatic win-

dows on the bay side that reveal a

panoramic view.  The substantially

permanent  collection  of  1,864  ob-

jects  is  supplemented by  traveling

shows.    The  emphasis  is  on  con-

temporary  works  on  paper  and

works by regional artists, as well as

a large collection of works from the

estate of Dorothy Hood.

Texas State Aquarium

A Texas sized under sea adventure

will  be  your  treat  at  this  place  of

learning,  exploration,  fun,  excite-

ment, wonder and discovery 

Get up close to the dolphins in Dol-

phin Bay, touch a shark or stingray,

and  experience  the  newly  opened

Amazon  Exhibit.    It  features  boa

constrictors,  an  anaconda,  exotic

birds, piranhas and Goliath bird eat-

ing  tarantulas.  Visitors  take  an

aquatic journey from the shore to the

depths of the Gulf of Mexico while

watching  dive  shows  and  feeding

demonstrations.  Guests can also in-

teract with the animal keepers dur-

ing  the  many  presentations

scheduled throughout the day.

We will climb aboard our climate controlled,

sunny, warm Orlando, Florida, stopping the

first night at a nice hotel along the way. 

Day 2

We will arrive in Orlando and check into your

hotel. Tonight you can relax and use any re-

maining time for personal activities.

Day 3

We will head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

after you have breakfast. Disney's Hollywood

Day 1Leave McAllen on your comfort-able, climate controlled, restroomequipped motor coach with ourfirst destination being Santa Fe,NM.  Watch the ever changingscenery as we head west throughthe mountains and deserts ofwestern Texas.  Tonight we willstay at a nice hotel on the way toSanta Fe.

Day 2Today we will finish our trip toSanta Fe, the oldest capital city inthe USA, founded in 1610. Theentire downtown area of Santa Feis listed in the National Register ofHistoric Places.As time permits, we will exploreLoretto Chapel and the TownSquare, with personal activitiesand shopping during free time inthe evening.

Day 3Today we will visit Albuquerque, acity rich in culture and heritage.Albuquerque is noted for its Na-tive American jewelry. The SandiaPeak Tramway on the edge of Al-buquerque, takes people up tothe top of Sandia Peak, at an ele-vation 10,378 feet, offering an ex-cellent view of the city below andthe area around it.  You will enjoyyour time in Albuquerque, sight-seeing and shopping before re-turning to your hotel in Santa Fe.

Day 4Today we will do sightseeing inhistoric Chimayo City, where theSantuario de Chimayo is located.

This Catholic shrine is a NationalHistoric Landmark, receiving al-most 300,000 visitors a year whoare looking for spiritual and phys-ical healing.  It has been calledthe most important Catholic pil-grimage center in the USA.  Wewill also visit the Taos area, wherewe will see the San Francisco deAsis Mission, which is anotherNational Historic Landmark, andTaos Pueblo, which is the only liv-ing Native American communitydesignated both a World HeritageSite by UNESCO and a NationalHistoric Landmark. The multi-sto-ried adobe buildings have beencontinuously inhabited for over1000 years. We will eat andshop.  After returning to Santa Fe,the rest of the day is yours, to doas you please.

Day 5Today we will head out to Carls-bad, stopping at Roswell, NM tosee the International UFO Mu-seum and Research Center.

Day 6After a good breakfast, we willcontinue to McAllen, enjoying thenorthern Texas scenery as wetravel.  We will stop for the nightat a nice hotel.

Day 7After breakfast, we will relax inour motor coach and travel therest of the way to McAllen, takingin the scenery as we think backon all the fun we had shoppingand touring in New Mexico.

Day 1Leave McAllen for  the shoppingMecca of Eureka Springs and thepremier capital of  entertainment,Branson, Missouri. Tonight we willstay at a comfortable hotel.

Day 2After breakfast, our climate con-trolled, restroom equipped motorcoach will take us to EurekaSprings in comfort.  Enjoy thewinding, narrow Ozark streetsthat are surrounded by limestonewalls and Victorian architecture.The Great Passion Play, a storyof the life, death, resurrection andascension of Jesus Christ is pre-sented by a cast of 250 actors inauthentic Biblical costuming. Day 1We will head out of the Valley on your comfort-able, climate controlled, restroom equippedmotor coach on our way to Washington DC, thecapital of America. We will stop to get a goodnights sleep along the way at a comfortable hotel.Day 2As we travel today, you will get to see so much ofour interesting country while we pass thru stateafter state. Again, a comfortable hotel for tonight.Day 3Today, we will arrive in our nation’s capital, a citysteeped in history, and full of excitement. Fa-mous landmarks are everywhere.Day 4We will start our exploration of Washingtontoday. A local guide will join us on our motorcoach to show us around the area. We will seeso many places of interest today, including theLincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, thetowering Washington Memorial, and the Capitaland the White House. Free time to visit some ofthe museums in the area will be made available.Day 5Your comfortable motor coach sightseeing tour ofWashington will continue today. Later in the day,we suggest you consider visiting more of themany magnificent Smithsonian Museums, suchas one of the art museums, the Natural HistoryMuseum, the American Indian Museum, theAmerican History Museum or the Air and SpaceMuseum.Day 6Off to Atlantic City, with free time so you can strollthe beautiful beaches or walk on the famousboardwalk. You can shop if you want before wehead on to New York City. You will be mesmerized by New York City, fromthe skyline to Times Square to Wall Street. Thereare gourmet restaurants, fantastic shopping, andso much more. It is a city of fantastic energy.Day 7After a tour of New York City, you will get to go tothe Statue of Liberty and to the top of the Em-pire State building (cost for Statue of Liberty andEmpire State building are not included in ourprice). You will also have some free time to checkout the attractions that interest you the most,such as shopping in Times Square, relaxing inCentral Park, or maybe visiting Broadway or theUnited Nations Building, just to name a fewplaces of interest.Day 8We will finish the tour of New York today, then therest of the day is yours, free to do as you want.Maybe a museum, some historical sights, ChinaTown, or maybe you want to seen the famousBrooklyn Bridge.Day 9This morning we will leave New York and head tohistoric Boston, where we will do a city sightsee-ing tour before continuing to Montreal, Canada.

Day 10Today we will tour the beautiful bilingual city ofMontreal. The influence of the French is readilyapparent. You will find Montreal a most charmingcity with a beauty and flair all its own. The viewfrom Mount Royal, overlooking the town and har-bor, is spectacular.Day 11Off to Quebec today for a sightseeing tour of the“Gibraltar of the America’s.” We will visit theChateau Frontenac, a famous and oft pho-tographed hotel. We will see the ParliamentBuilding, and the Citadelle, which was built tohelp protect Quebec City. We will return to Mon-treal in the evening.Day 12We will head to Ottawa, Canada today, whereyou will find diverse museums, and an interest-ing landscape of cultural venues. You will havefree time to shop, along with a sightseeing tourof the interesting points of Ottawa. Then we willhead to Toronto, Canada. Day 13Toronto is a culturally diverse city and is a fasci-nating city to see and tour. Points of interest in-clude the Rogers Centre (Sky Dome), parliamentbuildings, city hall, Chinatown, the harbor, andthe downtown shopping district. You can ride aglass front elevator up the CN Tower, which isover 550 meters tall. There is an observationdeck at 447 meters (1,467 feet) which is the high-est observation deck in the world, allowing you tosee almost 100 miles.Later in the day we will head out for nearby Ni-agara Falls.Day 14Niagara Falls is one of the most popular spots onearth, and with good reason. It is beautiful, mag-nificent, awesome and overwhelming. You willsee the American, Bridal and Horseshoe Fallsfrom the vantage point of beautiful Queen Victo-ria Park. We will also see the huge, functioningfloral clock. It is one of the largest clocks in theworld and is formed by flowers. We will see thebreathtaking Botanical Gardens as well. Therewill be time for lunch, shopping and some freetime. If you do not mind getting wet, the Maid ofthe Mist boat will get you up close and personalwith the falls. Or maybe you would like to go upin one of several large towers built in the area fora bird’s eye view of the falls and surroundingcountryside. Later, we will head for Cleveland,Ohio.Day 15When we leave Cleveland we will head for Mem-phis, TN.Day 16Today we will head for San Antonio, TX.Day 17Leaving San Antonio, we will return to the RioGrande Valley of Texas today.

No Smoking AboardNo smoking is allowed aboard the bussince most of our clients do not wantto smell smoke on the bus. However,we will have stops on the way forsmoking, picture taking and stretching.On all stops we will rotate seatingbased on instructions given by yourtour conductor. Please cooperate androtate, thank you.Travel light, one suitcase and onecarry on per person since we are tak-ing a trip to Mexico and not movingdown there.

To Reserve Your Tour With Us1. Call or visit our office or contact our

sales representative at your park.2. You will be required to pay $25 de-

posit per person to reserve any tour 2 to 4 days long. Full payment is re-

quired to reserve all one day tours. A $50 deposit per person is required to

reserve any tours over four days long.

Deposits are accepted by mail or per-sonal visit at our office or can be paidto our sales representatives at yourpark.Balance is due 10 days prior to the de-parture date. (Unless otherwisestated).

Cancellations/RefundsHowever, in the case of a provenemergency, you will receive a ticket ofequivalent value good for one year,that may be used by anyone on any ofour tours. That ticket must be returnedto us when reserving of a new tour. Onthe morning of the tour, not showing upwill mean neither a refund nor a re-placement ticket. After the tour begins,any unused portions, or any part(s)canceled by the passenger regretfullyare not refundable.

Travel DocumentFor Mexico tours we will fill out a Mex-ican Tourist Card at your park or our of-fice, but you must take with you a proofof citizenship. For U.S. residents thatproof may be in the form of a validpassport, voter’s registration card,birth certificate or notarized Affidavit.Canadians can use only a valid pass-port or birth certificate card.
