Little Sports Program- These programs prepare pre-school age children between 3 and 5 years old for

organized sports and arts without the threat of competition or fear of getting hurt.

Parent participation needed to assist our program staff help teach the children for

five weeks to increase motor skills, improve hand-eye

coordination, build confidence and have fun.

Little Hoopers (old START SMART Basketball)

Each child will learn the fundamentals of basketball from dribbling, shooting, to passing and other exciting skills.

Mondays from 5:30-6:15 PM—Class Dates: Feb 22, 29, March 7, 14, 21

Class Fee is $45 (Siblings are $30) Location: To be determined

Total Little Sports This program is ideal for the child that wants to try a little bit of everything. They will have the opportunity to try all sports from basketball, soccer, baseball, to football, and tennis. Mondays from 5:30-6:15 PM— Class dates: April 4, 11, 18, 25 May 2

Little Sluggers (old START SMART Baseball)

This class breaks down the game of baseball in a dynamic way. They develop their throwing, catching, hitting and base running skills while improving hand-eye coordination and making contact with a baseball off a tee.

Day Mondays from 5:30-6:15 PM— Class dates: May 9, 16, 23, June 6, 13

Little Kickers (old START SMART Soccer)

Is your child’s introduction to soccer. They will work on dribbling, passing, trap-ping, shooting, and throw-ins in a high energy environment.

Little Artists

Let your child explore the world of painting, drawing, cutting & gluing, clay sculpting and constructing art with many fun materials.

2016 SECA Day Camp Open House!

Join us on Wednesday, February 17 from 6:30-8:30pm in the lower level of

the SECA building to learn more about our Summer Day Camp Programs. You

will have the opportunity to learn about this year’s camp themes, meet the

camp director, make camp crafts and ask questions.

St. Patrick’s Day Party & Fundraiser – Saturday March 12, 2016 from 7 to 11 pm.

This Event is for Adults Only! See if you have the luck of the Irish! Ticket includes food, fun, and

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt (ages 11 to 15)- Fri, March 25th, 7:30pm.

Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt! Youth ages

11 to 15 are invited to bring their flashlights out and enjoy a fun Easter Egg

Hunt on the SECA grounds in the dark! Over 4000 eggs filled with prizes and

candy will be hidden! Special “Golden Eggs” will be hidden for special prizes!

Bring a bag and a flashlight. Youth Registration begins at 7:30 pm. Please no

children under 11 years old. This event is FREE!

Open Tumbling — Tumbling for ages 6+ for all skill levels. Your child will have to

opportunity to enhance their cheerleading or recreational gymnastics skills. Taught by

Primetime Tumbling Instructors. Class will be held on Mondays once SECA receives

at least 7 pre-registered students. Each class will run for 4 consecutive weeks.

Class Fee is $60 (plus $25 yearly registration fee), Location: SECA Center

Please Pre-register with SECA and Primetime Tumbling for each 4 week session,

contact Primetime Tumbling (717)-201-2873.

SECA Swim Clinic- SECA invites you to join us for a 7 week swim clinic that fo-cuses on improving your stroke techniques using proven competitive coaching

methods and self-correcting drills. This clinic is open to all competitive swimmer* in and around Lancaster County. Dates: Fridays- March 18, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & May 6 .

Times: Ages 10 and under-> 6:30-7:30pm; Ages 18 and under-> 7:30-8:30pm

Clinic Fee: $65/swimmer (non-refundable) Location: Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA

Indoor Youth Soccer League

Join SECA for a 7-week co-ed indoor soccer league for youth grades K-

2nd and 3rd-5th played on Saturdays at Quarryville Elementary School.

We will choose the teams equally as this program is designed to be in-

structional and FUN, not competitive. Games will be played on a small

court using 5 players on a team. This leads to more excitement, more scoring and less

bench time!

League starts January 30th, games played between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM

Registration Fee: $45 - Registration Deadline January 15th.

SECA Flag Football League

For youth ages 5-8, 9-11 and 12-14. Both girls and boys are invited to

participate. League games are played on Sundays starting in March.

Registration Fee includes team equipment, jersey and officiating fees.

We are looking for fun coaches and great kids to help kick off the 2016 season!

R.I.P.P.E.D — R.I.P.P.E.D is a high energy workout that masterfully combines an easy,

yet effective cardiovascular routine interlaced with weight and resistance. With driving,

motivating music, participants jam through Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics,

Endurance, and Diet with smiles, determination, and strength. This high intensity style

program will have you burning 750-1000 calories in just 50 minutes! R.I.P.P.E.D. is truly

for EVERY body and designed to meet ALL fitness levels. All you need to bring is a

towel, light hand weights, water, and a smile!

Winter #1: January 4th – February 10th (6 wks)

Winter #2: February 29th – April 20th (8 wks)

Spring #1: April 25th – June 20nd (8 wks)

Pilates— Coming Soon!! Pilates is a body

conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility,

strength, endurance, and coordination without adding

muscle bulk. In addition, Pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and

strengthen the body’s core or “powerhouse” (torso). People who do Pilates regularly feel

they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health.

Class Dates, Instructor, Class Fees and Location will be announced the by January 25,

Youth, Adult and Family Programs

ARC Babysitter's Training- Babysitters need to be prepared for anything. Interactive activities help students learn the prevention, prepara-tion and emergency skills needed by every good babysitter. Learn skills like diapering, feeding, proper discipline and game playing. For ages 11-15; To register please contact SECA by email or phone. Course Fee: $55, Location: SECA Building Class Date: Friday, March 11th, 9-6 (Bring a lunch) Registration Deadline: Friday, February 26th.

Karate– Riehl Martial Arts— Ages: 8 thru Adult. Moo Duk Kwan- Korean Art of Self-Defense. Classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm; Instructor: Master John C. Riehl. Class Fees: $30/ month for 1 class a week or $50/ month for 2 classes a week

Family discounts available! Initial Fee- $55.00 for uniform and mouth piece.

Family Adventures: Join SECA for 2 hours of Family FUN!! Enjoy an evening connecting with family and friends creating memories. We will work in team building, communication and building strong relationships while having FUN!! This program runs for 8 weeks on Thursday nights at Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren and begins at 6pm.

Program Fee: $20 per family for 8 weeks or drop in rate of $5 per night.

Dates: January 21, 28, February 4, 11,18, 25, and March 3, 10.

Men’s Softball League– Softball will be back in Solanco this spring!

Last years league was a success and we are looking forward to the league

expanding this year to 6 or 8 teams. All games will be played at 8 pm under

the lights at Memorial Park, Quarryville. Games will begin in May and end in July.

Anyone interested in playing or sponsoring a team should attend an organizational

meeting on Monday, February 22nd at 7 pm at the SECA Center. If you are unable

to attend this meeting, but are interested in participating in this league contact SECA at

(717) 806-0123.

Men’s Spring Hockey League– (16 yrs old - Adults)

Join SECA for an inline hockey league under the lights in Legion Memorial Park.

The league is going to be set up as one division with three 10 minute time periods

with a stopped clock. You are able to roster a maximum 7 skaters and 1 goaltender. All

skaters must be at least 16 years old (with guardian signature if under 18). The league

will consist of 12 games and a playoff competition. Games will begin the week of

March 21st. Any questions please call (717) 806-0123.

Cost: $300 per team plus $10 a game referee fee. ($$ & Rosters due at captain’s mtg.)

Team Captain's Meeting: Mon. March 7th at 7PM– SECA Building.

Spring Beach Volleyball League - (16 yrs old - Adults) Join

SECA for its first ever 6-on-6 volleyball league. Sign up your team

for this intermediate league played on our beach volleyball court by

the pool. We will play a Standard co-ed male to female ratio (4

men to 2 females). Each match will consist of a maximum of 3

games or 50 minutes whatever comes first. Cost: $200 a team plus

$10 a game for the referee. Please contact SECA for rules, rosters

and team registration form. Season starts in April, dates determined

at Captains Meeting due to weather. Registration Deadline: April 1st, 2016
