    the numbers. Players

    take turns to cover 3

    numbers that add to

    21 covering one

    number from each

    snowman on a turn,

    e.g. a player could

    cover 3, 8 and 10.

    Once a circle is

    covered it stays

    covered. The winner is

    the last person who

    can cover 3 numbers

    that total 21.

    each player uses a different color

    Take turns to roll the dice and check the

    number on the dice against the key.

    18 Winter Add to 20 a game for 2 players

    Need: 2 dice,

    counters in 2 different colors each player uses a different

    color

    Each player takes 10 counters in their color. Players take turns

    to roll the 2 dice and add the numbers together. They then

    decide how much more is needed to make 20 and cover this

    number on the board, e.g. if a player rolls 5 and 3 they would

    cover 12. The game ends when one of the players has used all

    10 of their counters. The winner is the player who has the

    longest line of counters in their color.

    Each player chooses an equation for the game. Number cards are

    spread out face down beside the board. Each player takes 4 number

    cards. Players then try to create a true addition equation by placing

    the number cards over the boxes. The first player to do this is the

    winner of this round and scores one point. If no player can make an

    equation, each player picks up another card. This continues until one player creates a true equation.

    Snowman Game a game for 2 players Need: Snowman Cards

    The object of the game is to be the last player to place a snowman on the

    board.

    To Play: Players take turns to place a snowman card on the board.

    Each card must cover 2 squares and a card cannot be placed over

    another card. The last player who can place a snowman on the board

    is the winner.
