Registration forms must be emailed to [email protected] and it must be noted on the forms if a
cheque will be arriving in the mail, or if the registration fees will be paid on the day of the
event.
Clubs that are not attending are required to pay a fee of $50.00 before the January 31st
deadline. Clubs who have not registered a team or paid the fee by January 31st will be invoiced
as per JFAO policy.

1. Each Club is eligible to enter one team in each event, unless otherwise stated by the
organizing committee. If there is space following the early bird deadline, extra teams
beyond what is stated may be allowed by the Committee for an additional fee of
$175.00.
2. All participants must be a JFAO member in good standing. Membership validity will be
checked during registration. Clubs owing any money or information to JFAO will not be
allowed to participate until all invoices are paid and information is submitted. As per
JFAO policy, any members signing up on the day of the event will be charged an
additional $5.00 fee.
3. Winter Games is an alcohol- and cannabis-free event, as per JFAO policy. The club of any
participant found in possession of alcohol or cannabis will be subject to a fine of
$100.00 for a first offence and $250.00 for a second offence.
4. The organizing committee has the final say regarding all rules, scheduling, and winners.
5. All sporting events are included in the price of team admission. Individual registrants
may join with a club on the day of the event.
6. Results of the games will be announced during the Saturday night dance.
7. Black soled shoes are not permitted in the gyms.
8. NEW: All participants will be required to sign a waiver before participating in the event.
Participants under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
** All clubs should review the JFAO Policies online for additional general rules. Oxford County
Junior Farmers and JFAO are not responsible for anyone disqualified due to lack of awareness
of the Policies. In case of a disqualification, fees will not be refunded. **

Mixed Basketball A team will consist of 5 players
Each team must have at least 2 females on the court at all times
The winner is the team to score the most points within the time allotted
There will be no extra time awarded in the case of a tie
Failure to show up on time will result in a forfeit, the opposing team will win 5-0
All other FIBA rules apply
Mixed Volleyball A team will consist of 6 players
Each team must have at least 2 females on the court at all times
The winner is the team to score the most points within the time allotted
There will be no extra time awarded in the case of a tie
Failure to show up on time will result in a forfeit, the opposing team will win 5-0
All other OVA rules apply
Mixed Indoor Soccer A team will consist of 5 players plus a goalie
Each team must have at least 2 females on the floor at all times
The winner is the team to score the most points within the time allotted
There will be no extra time awarded in the case of a tie
Failure to show up on time will result in a forfeit, the opposing team will win 2-0
All other rules apply

There will be no physical contact
All other rules apply
Mystery Event #1 Put your thinking caps on, we are heading to a party!
This mystery event will take place throughout the day in the parking lot, so dress
accordingly and bring outdoor shoes
Mystery Event #2 There will be one mass Mystery Event held in the gym once all games are finished
All special equipment will be provided

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Woodstock South (510 Norwich Avenue)

The block is held under the name “Winter Games/Carson Wagner.”
Rooms will be held until December 23rd, so early booking is recommended.
Hotel amenities include:

fridge, Keurig in every

There are several dining
options within walking
distance of the hotel.
Junior Farmer members will
receive 15% off at Kelseys
Original Roadhouse (directly
across from the hotel) for the
weekend of Winter Games,
just tell them you’re a Junior
Farmer!

All games will be held at
Huron Park Secondary School
900 Cromwell Street, Woodstock
Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. for registration.
There are several lunch options nearby, a map will be provided at the Games.
Travel time from the hotel to the games is approximately 15 minutes.
The Saturday Night Dance will be held at the
Tavistock & District Memorial Hall
3 Adam Street, Tavistock ON
Dance tickets are $10 each for JFAO members, and $15 for non-members. Winners from the
events will be announced at the dance.
Travel time from the hotel to the dance is approximately 30 minutes.
Buses will be provided between the hotel and the dance.
Departing the hotel at 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Returning to the hotel at 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.
** The theme of the dance is Birthday Party, there will be prizes for the best costumes! **
