Part I of the Estate of James R. Lamantia, Jr.,AIA, featuring an exten-sive collection of important architectural, old master, European and American drawings, folios and prints and maps. Lamantia was a New Orleans archi-tect, Fulbright Fellow, Tulane Professor, paint-er, gallerist and Piranesi expert. Lamantia’s architectural designs included many New Orleans churches and schools, along with facilities of the World Trade Center and Lincoln Center in addition to overseeing the renovation of the Presbytere on Jackson Square. Lamantia’s collection includes drawings by John Ruskin, George Bellows, Rockwell Kent, Josef Hoffman, Augustus Pugin, Simeon Solomon, Benjamin West and Sir John E. Millais. His print and folio collec-tion includes iconic selections from the 16th through 20th c., including Palladio, Jones, Rossini, F.L.
