RECENT CHANGES TO AUSTRALIAN STANDARDSCHAIN SLINGS FOR LIFTING PURPOSES - GRADE T (80) AND V (100) AS 3775.1 AND AS 3775.2-2014Recently the new standard for chain slings was released (AS 3775.2 – 2014) which supersedes AS 3775 – 2004. This impacts inspection and testing frequencies and identifi es changes to some confi gurations and assemblies, such as a reeved sling, which can no longer be used at 90° or 120° (only 60°).
