Statistics• 67% of students currently enrolled in Guilford

County Schools are considered low-income, up from 59% last school year (2014-15)

• Around 2,000 kids in Guilford County are homeless.

• A 2014 study showed that nationwide, just 23% of kids face the same problems.

• These children are likely ill-prepared for bad weather conditions, especially if they are homeless.
