01-19-2019 9:00AM-4:00PM Ledge to Lakes District: Klondike Derby MOUNTAIN MAN ADVENTURE Klondike Derby, Troops and Patrols will visit stations along the route and compete in the various events. “Dress as a mountain man “Extra points to be awarded for looking like a mountain man Troop and Patrol performances at each event will be scored for their level of knowledge, accomplishment and teamwork. Scores will be totalled, and trophies awarded to the Troops and Patrols with the highest scores.

Winter Camping opportunity,
Camp Friday night Extra points awarded for camping. Possibility you could earn the Polar Bear award for winter camping
Snow Snakes Troops/Patrols should come with a 5’-6” long (Min.) and a 2” Dia. (Must measure 2” at some point) snow snake (no wheels) that will be sent down a frozen trough (weather permitting) point also awarded for design “decorate to represent your unit.
Unit Chili Cookoff- Adults, Parents, Leaders –Earn extra points, “earned if cooked on site day of event

Blindfolded Scouts carry a Scout (not blindfolded) on a stretcher around a course following directions given by the Scout on the stretcher.
