MYNIC’s Raya Celebration


KKMM Hari Raya CelebrationIt has become a tradition for Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM) to celebrate Hari Raya Celebration with the departments, agencies and stakeholders. This year, KKMM itself has hosted the celebration on 25th July 2016 at KKMM Building, Putrajaya. Up to 2,000 guests have joined the celebration.

The objective is to strengthen the relationship among KKMM staffs, agencies and stakeholders. This is to foster cooperation at all levels where each department and agency has assigned with food stall and MYNIC has sponsored drinks for the event.

Performance from Nasir Wahab and other local celebrities has enliven the celebration.

MYNIC in collaboration with Yayasan Muslimin Malaysia has organised a Corporate Social Responsiblity (CSR) programme in conjunction with Hari Raya Celebration with orphans from Pusat Jagaan Baitul Hidayah, Puchong. The program was conducted on Tuesday, 19th July 2016 at Restoran Terapung D’Saji Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur.

Total of 35 orphans from Pusat Jagaan Baitul Hidayah, Puchong Selangor has been invited to this program as a special guest. This event was attended by MYNIC Chairman, YBhg Datuk Bridget Anne Chin Hung Yee, Yayasan Muslimin Malaysia

Program Kreatif@Komuniti has been organised by KKMM in Kota Belud, Sabah. The program was held on 22nd & 23rd July 2016 at Kg. Rampayan Laut in Kota Belud. All agencies under KKMM were involved in this program including MYNIC.

The initiative of the program is to make an engagement with community through creativity programmes. MYNIC took part as one of the exhibitors conducting awareness activities for community in Sabah. The program was officiated by Chief Secretary of KKMM , YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad.

Chairman, MYNIC’s Reseller and staffs also participated in this event.

An amount of RM55000 was donated to Yayasan Muslimin Malaysia and the mock cheque was given to the Chairman of Yayasan by En Hasnul Fadhly Hasan, CEO of MYNIC.

This event was enlivened by Shamsul Ghau Ghau, Ejam Medicine and The X Buskers. This CSR programme is to create awareness on MYNIC’s mission and vision as well as a platform to promote MYNIC’s initiatives.



National Month & Kibar Jalur Gemilang EventsMYNIC has participated as exhibitor in conjunction with launch of National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang Campaign 2016 in Tawau, Sabah. The exhibition started from 5th to 7th August 2016 together with other government agencies such as MDEC, Pos Malaysia, IPPTAR, Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia and Jabatan Kesihatan Tawau to promote their products and services as well as to show their support towards the country.

The event has been officiated by Deputy Prime Minister, YB Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on 6th August 2016 at Majlis Perbandaran Tawau, Sabah.

It was a kick-start for all the programs and activities towards National Day Celebration on 31st August and Malaysia Day on 16th September 2016. More than 30,000 people from different background came to this event to show their spirit, love and support to the country. Among programs conducted were Jalur Gemilang Run, Jalur Gemilang Convoy, artist performance and bazaar.

The National Month and Fly The Jalur Gemilang Campaign 2016 was lead by Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia with the theme of #sehatisejiwa.

MYNIC Berhad was invited by The Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre of Arbitration (KLRCA) to give an opening account for Seminar entitled Securing Your Digital Assets which was held at KLRCA office on the 4th of August 2016.

Miss Yeo Yee Ling from MYNIC’s Legal, Corporate Governance Unit was invited to give an introduction on MYNIC’s functionality as Malaysia’s Top Level Domain Administrator and to provide an insight on the benefits of utilizing MYNIC’s .my Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (MYDRP) which is managed exclusively by KLRCA. MYDRP is a special service provided only for .my domain registrants.

As many as 60 professionals attended the event which was moderated by Mr. Khoo Guan Huat, a partner of Skrine who also chairs the Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution Practice Group. The main speaker for the day was Miss Jayce Yeo,

the APAC Regional Director of CSC Digital Brand Services, an organization that specializes in providing consultation to corporations regarding digital assets protection. The main motion was to provide information, assistance and awareness to individuals and business owners on how to protect, monitor and enforce their brand rights in this digital age to prevent or minimize the risk of cyber-attacks, fraud and infringements that may lead to negative exposure or brand erosion.

The event proved a success for MYNIC in educating and providing information to the public on the exclusive services it offers to its customers through its MYDRP Policy. A complementary dinner was also served to all the participants by KLRCA before the end of the day rounding up a successful event organized by a great host.

LOVE MALAYSIA Bazar has been held in The Jaya One, Petaling Jaya on 20th & 21st August 2016. The concept of the bazaar was food showcase and Malaysian made and 60 booths managed to showcase their products such as clothing, printed wood arts, accessories and others.

Fiesta Blogshop 2016 has made its comeback in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, from 22nd to 24th September 2016. This year the event came with different concept in conjunction with KL Converge! 2016. It aim to bring together leading experts from the fields of multimedia, applications, internet and creative content to discuss, showcase and celebrate opportunities and successes in the digital space.

Fiesta Blogshop is an event to provide a platform for online businesses to showcase their products and services to broad spectrum demographics. It is a unique gathering for online business community and for online business people to meet their customers and develop wider business. At the same

time, visitors also have the opportunity to explore creative and media industry exhibition by other exhibitors as well.

The event has successfully gathered 30 selected online blog shops in one single location selling products and items from hijabs, apparels, accessories, books, to wood-printed services and more. There are varieties of activity to entertain the crowd. There were live bands performances during the event and special appearance of local celebrities such as Ronnie Hussein, Mira Filzah, Drama Band, Dayang Nurfaizah and Aweera. The visitors were given chances to play games, quizzes and took photos with their favourite celebrities. The session really boosted up the crowd and highlighted the occasion.

The CSR program was a series of talk set-up for form five students from SMK Bandar Baru Bangi, Jalan Dua on 23rd June 2016. More than 200 student has attended to this program.

The program started at 2.00pm with talk on “Transformasi Diri 360” by Cikgu Yaser, a

panel of Program Assalamualaikum – TV Al Hijrah. Followed by talk on “Jadikan Gajet Anda Mesin Wang” presented by Mohd Firdaus Azizi, a Facebook motivator and the last slot was “Forum Perdana : Media Sosial – Pembina Diri vs Pemusnah Diri” by Mohd Fadzli, a presenter from TV Al Hijrah and Irma Hasmie, a celebrity.

The highlight of the event is the hand over of Mock Cheque Donation worth RM25,000

In conjunction with National Day celebration, MYNIC has organized a running event at national level which is myBuddies Run #sehatisejiwa. The event had gathered 7,000 people from all over the country.

myBuddies Run #sehatisejiwa is a continuation initiative from the previous Larian Sehati Sejiwa held in 2015. The event was conducted at Persiaran Floria, Cyberjaya on 21st August 2016. The objective is to promote a healthy lifestyle to bring togetherness among Malaysian. This event will also encourage the spirit of patriotism and love for our country, in accordance with National Day theme Malaysia #sehatisejiwa.

The event featured three categories of 3 km fun run, 5 km masked fun run and 10km race. All the flag off was released by MYNIC CEO, En Hasnul Fadhly Hasan. Many activities were carried out during the event such as Body Combat exercise by Sharifah Sakinah, selfie/wefie contest, as well as stage performance by Drama Band. All participants also entitled for lucky draw where the grand prize was a Proton Iriz and five mountain bikes.
