Vino in the ValleyPassport Program
Weekends in MarchCelebrate the arrival of new vintages and spring during Vino in the Valley Passport Program. Use your passport every full weekend at each of our wineries throughout the month of March to enjoy a fun-filled wine and food extravaganza. Your passport is an opportunity to sample award-winning wines and explore the diversity offered by the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail. Have your passport stamped at each winery to become eligible for exciting prizes.Passports go on sale the third weekend in November at all of our wineries and online. Quantity is limited. So be sure to buy yours early so you don’t miss out on this great experience!
Spring Wine & Cheese EventThird weekend in May
Taking place mid-spring, this event features the pairing of cheeses with local wines at each of our nine member wineries. Each winery will select one of its fine wines to pair with the perfect cheese and will offer complimentary tastings of the pairing to wine lovers who will explore how the texture, acidity, fat, and tannin compliment or contrast each other.
Guests will also learn tips to help them skillfully develop their own pairings. Cheeses will be offered for sale so that guests can recreate the wine and cheese pairings at home.
Wine on the Mountain4th weekend in July
Penn’s Peak is a striking indoor venue located near Jim Thorpe, Pa. Penn’s Peak patrons enjoy a breathtaking overlook of nearby Beltzville Lake, plus a commanding, picturesque 50-mile panoramic view of northeastern Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. In addition to sampling great wine, there will be:

2nd weekend in SeptemberThe Lehigh Valley Wine Trail is proud to be a part of‘Pennsylvania Preferred,’ a statewide campaign designed to showcase and promote the excellent quality of Pennsylvania products. Each winery will partner with other Pennsylvania products and invite you to join us for a weekend of entertainment and education as we kick off our fall harvest season. Wineries will feature wine, food, tours, music, and special events throughout this fun-filled weekend. So bring your friends and family out to our wineries as we celebrate the harvest season!

Nouveau Weekend3rd weekend in November
Visit our nine family-owned wineries and sample our first vintages of the harvest. Each winery will offer a Nouveau wine, some of which are produced from Chambourcin grapes, the grape of the Lehigh Valley.Nouveau wines are usually light, fruity, semi-dry to dry red wines, which are known to be excellent with the traditional Thanksgiving meal. We will offer food pairings to enjoy with our delicious Nouveau wines.

Explore more than the store!Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Mountains of eastern Pennsylvania are nine family-owned wineries that make up the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail. The fertile farmlands, rich in shale and limestone and favored with a moderate climate, provide an ideal growing environment for vineyards of both traditional Vinifera wine grapes and Native American grapes.
Our family-owned wineries promote premium Pennsylvania wines from the Lehigh Valley, which was designated an American Viticultural Area in April 2008. The A.V.A. designation enables vintners to better describe the origin of their wines and allows consumers to better identify wines they purchase. The Lehigh Valley is Pennsylvania’s fastest growing wine region and an exciting place to visit.

Here at Big Creek we taste and we talk. Often a dialog or tête-à-tête, sometimes a discourse or an oration, and, occasionally, a debate. Not always about wine. Maybe the good old days, the Old Country, grandchildren… The more you know and understand our wine, the more you will appreciate it. Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery was established in 1985 by owners John and Pat Skrip. The Skrips, including their two children, John III and Kari, have grown Clover Hill into one of Pennsylvania’s largest and finest producers of premium Pennsylvania wines.

John and Jan Landis established Vynecrest Vineyards and Winery in 1974. More than 43 years later the oldest vineyard in Lehigh County has grown to over 25 acres and produces over 25,000 gallons of wine per year. The spacious tasting room, housed in a 150-year-old barn, provides a unique backdrop to taste over 20 different varieties of wine. Check out the Vyneskeller Wine Bar where you can sip on some wine, grab a bite to eat and even drink a beer. Groups are welcome in their Cellar Experience.
