Like all other Valais specialties, the Humagne Rouge is a rarity and difficult to find. The Humagne rouge

combines the finesse of the Pinot noir and the structure of a Bordeaux. Its strong berry note and a light peppery

note make this wine a discovery for every wine connoisseur. The red Humagne is not related to the white

Humagne at all. The ampelographers see it as a representative of the old Oriou variety (Petit Rouge) from the

Aosta Valley.

Pleasant fruit of cherries and wild berries on the nose. Powerful, with well-structured tannins and aromas of

The Kurtatsch winery is located on the South Tyrolean Wine Route, 30 minutes south of Bolzano. The main

source of income for the residents of Kurtatsch are viticulture and fruit growing. This wine-growing community

The Azienda Cigno Moro is located deep in the south of Italy. Since most of the vineyards are laid out in the

Alberello system, machine processing or harvesting is not possible. It's all done by hand. This delicate

Primitivo di Manduria by Cigno Moro is indeed full and harmonious. The bouquet is strongly reminiscent of

cherry, liquorice with a hint of cinnamon. The Primitivo di Manduria Otto Cento is warm, soft and round,

with a balanced body and soft texture. The finale is elegant and long-lasting.

Le Cupole Rosso Toscana DOCG, Tenuta di Trinoro

The Tenuta di Trinoro of the cult winemaker Andrea Franchetti, which is located in a godforsaken part of

Tuscany south of the Brunello area, has quickly developed into a myth. Wine lovers from all over the world

Mauro Tinto Cosecha DO, Bodegas Mauro, Castilla y Léon

Bodegas Mauro is the project of the legendary Castilian winemaker Mariano García and his sons Alberto and

Eduardo. The winery and most of the 80 owned vineyards are located just a few kilometers west of the DO

Ribera del Duero border. The wines are made based on Tempranillo, with the entry-level wine Mauro having

had 10% Syrah in the cuvée for several years. While Mauro hardly comes into contact with new wood, the

selection wine Vendimia Seleccionada only matures in new oak. Mauro is without a doubt one of the largest

Tempranillos in the world.

On the nose, dark chocolate, plums, cinnamon cherries and dried bananas; Powerful on the palate with soft

The Aalto project was launched in February 1999 in the famous Ribera del Duero wine region

in Spain. The basic goal for Mariano García and Javier Zaccagnini was to produce a

particularly high-quality wine that reflects an honest picture of the diversity of the

environment and brings it together at the end of the maturation process in order to achieve the

right balance and complexity. In 2006, the Masaveu and Nozaleda families joined Aalto. They

own their own bodegas in other wine-growing areas in Spain and enriched the Bodega Aalto

with their expertise and the necessary stability.

Tasting note: Dark garnet red. Slightly smoky, spicy notes, toasted bread, Asian spices, black

A Spanish family winery with a long tradition. The roots of Bodega Rodero go back to the last century, when

Carmelo's grandparents were already earning their living as winegrowers and supplying the Vega Sicilia

winery with grapes.

The crianza with its expressive bouquet is full of notes of dark berries, black pepper, accompanied by roasted

peppermint, the tannin is lively, but powdery-gently matured , the new oak (at least a third!) hardly

noticeably integrated, long finale.

For Penfolds Bin 407, the Cabernet Sauvignon is fermented traditionally, the wine is aged for twelve

months in new barrels made from French (27%) and American oak (7%) as well as in American oak barrels

with multiple occupancy (66%).

Château Cos d‘Estournel 2e Cru Classé AOC, Saint Estèphe, Bordeaux

The wines of the Château Cos d’Estournel have been awarded the title “Deuxième Grand Cru Classé” since

1855. The owner Michel Reybier had an impressive and technologically fascinating wine cellar built, which

is well worth a visit. Saint Estèphe is located north of the municipality of Pauillac. This "Bordeaux" has a

complex bouquet with a certain Cabernet sweetness in the first approach, dark coffee, plums, but also

showing floral appealing notes, in the second approach Black Currant and young Malaga. Noble palate,

already showing wonderfully integrated tannins,

thus the astringency is nicely balanced, blueberries and cassis in the final.

Château Lynch-Bages 5e Cru Classé AOC, Pauillac, Bordeaux

On a plateau called "Batges" stands a small hamlet of the same name, which is practically the birthplace of

Château Lynch-Bages. Very close to the village of Pauillac, in the heart of the Médoc, there are traces of

viticulture that go back to the 16th century. In 1749 it was mentioned that an Irishman named Thomas

Lynch had obtained the vineyard by marrying a woman from Bordeaux. His wines, which he called "Crus

de Lynch", were officially classified in 1855 as 5eme Grand Cru. This "Bordeaux" has a lush, deep pauillac

aroma on the nose with lots of blue and black cassis, blackberries, vanilla stalks and dark bread. On the

palate, very ripe, barely noticeable tannins, a lot of body, warm radiance, dense fruit sweetness in the core,

persistent finish with spicy components.



Château Haut-Brion 1er Grand Cru Classé AOC, Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux

The wine-growing area of the DO Pessac-Léognan designation of origin is of French origin, a sub-region of

the Graves and located south of the city of Bordeaux, where it is home to the cities of Pessac Leognan,

Mérignac, Talence and Grézillac.

The grape varieties used in this region for white wine production are the Sémillon and the Sauvignon.

Ornellaia DOC, Tenuta dell‘Ornellaia, Toscana, Bolgheri

The Tenuta dell Ornellaia winery is hidden in the hills near Bolgheri. It was founded in 1981 by Lodovico

Antinori - he realized that this area is predestined for the classic varieties from Bordeaux. Today it is one of

the great classics in the world of wine. The hills of Tuscany are excellent for high quality viticulture. In

addition, the soils are ideally suited to allow classic French grape varieties as well as local grapes to flourish.

The top wine ages in barriques for around 20 months. The intense, rich and dense palate impresses with great

concentration and powerful, velvety and lively tannins, which give wine a great structure.



Sassicaia DOC, Tenuta San Guido, Toscana, Bolgheri

The famous Tenuta San Guido winery is located on the Tuscan Mediterranean coast near Bolgheri. The

winery is owned by Marchese Nicoló Incisa della Rocchetta. The style of the house is designed for elegance

and finesse. The climate is crucial for optimal ripening of the grapes. After the grapes are gently squeezed, the

must fermentation takes around 15 days. The young wine is then aged in French barriques for 22 months. In

1968, the first official Sassicaia vintage consisted of only 4,000 bottles. Today seven vineyards deliver around
