December HOA Meeting AgendaThere was no meeting the month of December in order to accomodate holiday schedules for our community members.
Final minutes for each meeting can be viewed by logging in at SpectrumAM.com.
The January meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
Your HOA Board has been hard at work to plan and complete improvements to our community assets. Highlights include:
1. Completion of the tennis court coating and new backboard are scheduled this month
2. New clubhouse furnishings have been purchased for delivery in late February
3. Quotes for interior finishes in the clubhouse have been requested and are being evaluated
4. Additions to the Holly Forest playground are being discussed as are plans for upgraded equipment at the Windsong Trail playground
Updates are regularly provided at the monthly HOA Meetings. Please make plans to join us this month on Tuesday the 22nd.
Are you interested in community leadership? We are looking for candidates to join your HOA Board for two immediate openings.
The purpose of your Windsong Board of Directors is to bring continuity and order to the community, preserve the architectural integrity, protect property values, and maintain the common elements within the neighborhood. Paul and Robert have chosen to resign from the board effective immediately due to increased career responsibilities and a job required relocation. They have both made valuable contributions to the success of our community and will be missed. Please join us in wishing them the best of luck in their personal endeavors.

Start undercover in seed trays: Artichokes (Globe), Celeriac, Chili & Hot Peppers, Coriander (also Cilantro & Chinese Parsley), Endive, Leeks, Marrow, Oregano (also Pot Marjoram), Parsnip, Pumpkin, Rocket (also Arugula/Rucola), Rockmelon (also Canteloupe), Rosella (also Queensland Jam Plant, Roselle), Rosemary, Strawberry seeds, Sweet Marjoram (also Knotted Marjoram), Tomato.
HARD FROST TOLERANT VEGETABLES: Hardy vegetables that can survive temperatures as low as 20˚F before finally being killed include cabbage, broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, kale, leeks, rutabagas and turnips. Upon thawing out, these hardy vegetables will continue to grow between freezes. Remember, too, that even when the tops of such vegetables as carrots and turnips are killed by cold, the roots will remain in good condition if the plants are mulched with a generous layer of insulating material, such as hay or leaves (many root vegetables actually improve in flavor after a frost). HARD FROST TOLERANT HERBS: Parsley, Sorrel, Sage plus Onion, Garlic, Leeks, Green Onion, Chives Frost Tip: I often use (not LED) Christmas lights to add warmth to plants. Some Garden Tasks for Winter: Cleanup, gather seeds, pruning, prepare beds for spring, soil analysis, cover crop, prepare tools, start seeds in protective environment.
