Windsock Company specialise in the manufacture and supply of windsocks and windsock masts. Our windsocks are manufactured in the United Kingdom and sold throughout the world for use in a wide range of aviation, safety and industrial applications.
Windsock Mast Type M1G
- Basic ground m ount ed windsock mast for in land use.- Suitable for windsocks with a maximum 24 inch (61 cms) diameter
mouth (depending on mast type - refer to table).- Aluminium with durable white powder paint finish.- Swivel arm allowing windsock to rotate 360 degrees.- Hinged base plate (galvanised steel) and ground anchors for setting
into wet concrete.- Straightforward installation for a competent builder.

Aviat ion: Small airfields; private landing strips; helicopter landing areas; parachute schools; microlight clubs.
Indust r ial Safet y: Oil, gas and chemical storage; water and sewage treatment works; refrigeration plants; recycling plants; general weather observation; emergency planning equipment.

Height : Our M1G type masts come in heights 3m to 8m.
Sect ion sizes: Variations in section sizes to cope with different conditions.
Windsock sizes: The tables give a recommended maximum size of windsock for each mast type.

This basic mast system is available as a wall mount option - refer to product data sheet M1W.
We can also supply these masts without the base plate should you wish to engineer your own fixing solution to suit circumstances at site.
