Before start of ichange, let storage team assign LUN to
server
Detailed Change Execution Steps:
1. Ijump to mds3aql442. Once Storage team assigns New LUN to
mds3aql44 3. Perform Rescan of disks in Disk management, need to
reboot the server if new drive is not visible even after rescan of
disks
4. Once new drive is visible, create partition with requested
size (320 GB) and assign the drive letter (say x: drive)5. Close
all the applications on the server and copy the data of F: drive to
newly created drive (say x: drive) using following command6.
robocopy F:\ X:\ /E /SEC /XD recycler "system volume information"
/W:3 /R:3
7. Once data is copied, perform following steps to make new
drive current drive8. Rename F: to Z: (unused drive and change the
label as Old F drive)by performing the following steps9. My
Computer->right click->manage->disk management > right
click on F:->change drive letter 10. Once F: drive is renamed to
Z: drive, now Rename X: to F: drive11. Start applications and check
if everything is fine12. Once all the applications are working and
making sure that all the data is present on new F: drive, data on
old F: drive can be deleted (Please get CTLs confirmation before
deleting data on old F: drive)

Verification:
1. Check if all the applications are running fine after transfer
of data2. Let the data be there on old LUNs for some days then data
can delete after getting confirmation from client/CTLDetailed
Back-Out Steps:
1. Escalate the issue to T3 engineer and involve on-call
engineer for any issue while performing PE StepsNotification
