customer’s License ID and Organization Name shows up here.
Key redemption status is not available for Windows Intune during initial launch.
Customers/Partners are urged to redeem all keys promptly after each purchase.
Scenario ReviewQ. Who is expected to come to VLSC to retrieve keys?Reseller partners are encouraged to support end customer from retrieval of keys to the activation of Windows Intune.
Reseller is encouraged to register on MPN to become Online Service Advisor and become Partner of Record.
Q. Can partner sign contract on behalf of end customer? Before partner may accept the Open License Agreement on behalf of customer, partner must be authorized by the customer to act as their agent in connection with the customer’s agreement with Microsoft.
Q. How can partner access VLSC on behalf of their customer?Open License Program: If Reseller email address is captured as part of the PO, Welcome Letter to VLSC will be sent. Otherwise, use “Add Open” functionality from the VLSC’s Homepage.
Open Value Programs: Partners can set up to be online administrator when contract is created in eAgreement Tool. Consult Distributor for detail.

Open Value Agreement has 3 year term. Windows Intune Midsized Business SKU is part of “Additional

The subscription provides:
Non perpetual use of ConfigMgr & SCEP to manage up to 5 devices used by the user to which an Intune license is assigned. If Intune subscription is not renewed the software must be removed from the customers devices.
Non perpetual use of ConfigMgr Server Software (Console). If Intune subscription is not renewed software must be removed from the customers devices.
Windows Intune subscriptions provide on premises use rights for System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) and Endpoint Protection (SCEP).

What are the Partners requirements to sell Windows Intune Open?All resellers will be able to sell Windows Intune subscriptions as long as they establish a reseller relationship with one of our authorized distributors. Prior to sell Open Programs, please learn about Microsoft Volume Licensing from http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/Default.aspx
Q? Open License or Open Value, which program should I order this? If end customers have active Open Value or Open Value Subscription Agreement, order from them. Otherwise, the default should be to order from Open License Program.
Q? Who is expected to actually obtain Keys from VLSC and redeem Windows Intune from the redemption site? While the entire process is end customer ready, Microsoft® encourages Partners to manage the process on behalf of end customers as part of their value-add-service. This way, Partners can ensure that they are the Partner of Record.
