commercial frame (100mm x 44mm).

The fixed panels can be centre glazed or front glazed with an option to

Awnings & Casements

An awning is a popular window choice when great looks and ventilation

is required. The awning sash is open and closed using a winder and can

be set open at different positions.

Avanti supplies two types of awnings varying in performance:

• Residential awning

• Commercial awning

Sliding Windows

The sliding window is a practical option when there is limited space around

the window. The window sash slides along the fixed panel resulting in a

compact unit.

Avanti supplies three types of sliding windows varying in performance:

• Residential sliding window (Vantage 506 series)

• Commercial sliding window (AWS 452 series)

• High performance sliding window (AWS 462 series)

Louvres

Louvres allow the greatest flow of air of any window when fully open.

Louvre windows have adjustable glass blades which allow the user to

control the flow of air by changing the pitch of the blade.

The louvre blades come in 102mm and 152mm wide styles.

The louvres can be supplied in glass, aluminium or timber blades.

Sashless Double-Hung

Bi-Fold Windows

The bi-fold window is ideal for linking the inside with the outside. The

window can be fully opened to maximise the opening to allow transfer of

food and drinks between two areas (e.g. Great for restaurants).

The bi-fold windows have bottom roller system allowing smooth and

durable operation.

Double-Hungs

A double-hung has two moving panes of glass which can be opened to

provide ventilation. You can choose to either open the top pane or bottom

pane of glass. The user can simply open the top pane while leaving the

bottom closed (no papers blowing away in the office!).

Avanti supplies two types of double-hungs:

• Framed double-hung (Vantage 514 series)

• Sashless double-hung (Aneeta)

The Vantage 548 series bi-fold door is the ideal way to link internal and

external entertaining areas.

The bi-fold doors fold to one or both sides to give virtually a 100%

opening. Bi-fold doors can be designed to have a single “active” door

which allows the user easy access.

The AWS 410 series commercial bi-fold door has extra strong door

sashes which allow larger bi-fold door arrangements to be

accomplished.

The AWS 410 series can be supplied to heights of 3 metres and panel

widths of 1 metre.

The Vantage 541 series sliding door is a cost-effective and practical

option to link internal and external areas. The sliding panel slides along

the fixed panel resulting in a compact unit.

The Vantage 541 series residential sliding door has a slim-lime look

(26mm wide sash) and is suited to most residential applications.

The AWS 704 series commercial sliding and stacker doors are used when

the sill needs to be recessed. Recessing the sill allows for the internal and

external floors levels to be the same. Therefore you no longer have to “step

over the sill” to pass through. This is a great option for wheelchair access

and the elderly.

French doors can be fitted with horizontal and vertical colonial bars to

(50mm) for larger openings.

The AWS 50 series can be supplied to heights of 3 metres and door

A pivot door is a great option for an entry door to your home or office.

A pivot door rotates on two metal pivots at the top and bottom of the door.

This allows the door to be open out and in. The door is usually fitted with

an concealed overhead closer which allows the door to be set open at

different positions.

The pivot door can supplied in a framed or frameless style.

Description

Double-glazing simply means two sheets of glass with a space in

between.

A double-glazed unit is two pieces of glass sealed along its sides with

“spacers”. The space can be filled with either air or argon depending on

the window requirements (Argon is better at reducing heat loss).

Double-glazing has become popular due to the following benefits:

- Noise reduction (up to 80%);

-Heat transfer reduction (up to 31%);

- UV light reduction (up to ~100%).

A handy tip to improve noise and heat insulation benefits is to use two

different types of glass for the double glazed unit. Some noise and heat

waves which pass through one type of glass will not pass through a

different type of glass

AluGard is a perforated aluminium mesh screening system which

provides the requirements of a security door in a modern sleek look.

Alu-Gard is a 2mm thick aluminium plate punched with a honeycomb

pattern and allows for an open area of 40%. Alu-Gard is powdercoated

in black and is non-corrosive, therefore ideal for coastal regions.

Avanti Glass has been providing our customers with the best quality products and service for over 30 years.

We are happy to provide the following terms of warranty:

a) Avanti Glass offers a product warranty for a period of three (3) years from the date of delivery and installation. The

extent of the warranty is limited to defects arising from faulty workmanship, hardware and aluminium and does not

include situations where the product has been subject to misuse, abuse or neglect;

b) No warranties for glass breakages or scratched glass unless caused by faulty workmanship;

c) No warranties against corrosion for units adjacent to pools can be given.
