Wilton Wildlife Park Offers Classes to HomeschoolersWILTON – On Thursday, January 26 and again on Friday, January 27, WiltonWildlife Preserve & Park will be offering classes designed specifically for chil-dren who are being homeschooled. The classes will begin at 10:30am and rununtil noon. Children will be able to discover the outdoors and learn about animaladaptations that help them to survive in the winter. The same program will beheld both days to accommodate more participants. Preregistration by January23 is required. There is a $3 fee per child per class. For people who do not havesnowshoes, rentals will be available at $5 for non-members, and free for mem-bers of Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park. If there is no snow, the program willtake place without snowshoes. Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe Postponed WILTON – The January Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe event atWilton Wildlife Preserve & Park is being postponed due to thelack of snow. Instead, it will be moved to the back-up date ofSaturday, February 4. All other aspects of the free event will re-main the same. The event on February 4 will begin at 6pm fromthe Scout Road entrance to Camp Saratoga and run until 9:30pm. Eleanor, an original musical based on the life of Eleanor Roo-sevelt! Eleanor will be performed in the upstairs space of OneOne One Restaurant on Main Street, in Greenwich, New York,a half hour east of Saratoga Springs. Rehearsals begin in Jan-uary. Most major roles are filled, but we remain in search of amale lead to play President Franklin Roosevelt opposite the verytalented Sylvia E. Bloom. Franklin is featured in three songsin the musical, “Debutant,” “You Will Be My Eyes,” and“Everyone Deserves Some Happiness In Life.” There are stillother roles available for teens and adults, including the role ofEleanor’s companion in later years, Lorena Hickok, featured inthe songs, “Je t’Aime et Je t’Adore,” and “Everyone DeservesSome Happiness In Life.”
