(P) SNB Ballard Road Office Assists Local Nonprofits WILTON – The Ballard Road Office of Saratoga National Bank and Trust Com- pany raised funds and collected donations for local nonprofits at its recent Com- munity Appreciation Day. The Office in Wilton collected five large boxes of food and $75 for the Wilton Food Pantry; dozens of hats, mittens and coats for area families; and donations of dog and cat food for H.O.P.E. (Homes for Or- phaned Pets Exist), an animal rescue agency. In addition, H.O.P.E. was on-site at the event with two cats and a dog, which generated some potential adoption leads and monetary contributions. The event also featured food and refreshments from Stewart’s Shops, balloon figures, and drawings for prizes. All Saratoga Na- tional Bank Offices are hosting Community Appreciation Days this year. The events are meant to show the Bank’s appreciation for its neighbors, while as- sisting local causes. Saratoga National Bank is headquartered in Saratoga Springs, New York. It provides banking, investment, insurance and other finan- cial services through six Saratoga County locations.     Albany, NY (October 15, 2012) Do you have a love for animals and want to support a great local cause? Join with the Goldstein Auto Group and bring your empty bottles and cans to a Goldstein dealership and support the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. The Mohawk Hudson Humane Societys Empties For Animals campaign helps support the mission of the organization, including sheltering, adoption, education, advocacy and the prevention of cruelty to animals. This years goal is to raise $125,000, in honor of the Societys 125th Anniversary. To reach the goal, the Goldstein Auto Group will need to collect more than 1,500,000 cans and bottles. The 2012 "Empties For Animals campaign has raised over $73,000 thru Sept. 2012, an increase of $17,638 or 33% over the same period last year. The 2011 campaign raised a total of more than $74,000 and col-lected 925,000 cans and bottles. Volunteers sorted all those bottles and cans, based on the originating distributor, which in turn gener-ated $.08 per can or bottle instead of the regular $.05 redemption

    fee paid at stores. Monies from the program were used to benet the more than 6,500 animals cared for by the Society in 2011. We are very pleased to continue our partnership with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and support the 2012 Empties For Animals campaign.
