A bull run in stocks has meant the FTSE 100 value rose to new highs in May, five years after its biggest decline in years following the start of the recession in 2008. But in June the FTSE dropped down to a five month low, so is the stock market rally about to come to an end? Most agree that the bull run was a result of the excess credit from central banks’ monetary easing and that it subsequently caused an equity bubble. Saxo Markets’ new infographic looks at whether the run is over and if the bubble is likely to burst.
