Consideration of the quota was put off untilOct 1 at the next scheduled meeting ofWTO.

China joined WTO in 2001, started todominate world textile market under theATC programe.

America, Bangladesh and developingcountries lost wealth, and jobs as a result ofChinese involvement. Both sides tried tofind a way to change the regulation.

However, there is no distinct announcement

about changing the policy from WTO.
