Do you love to read? Do you spend most of your

free time in the library? If you do, then you

would love Battle of the Books! Battle of the

Books is a competition where you read a set of

books and then see who knows the most about

them. See Ms. Lepsig for more information.

ciety meeting is October 3 at 7:45

a jean jacket or a cardigan.

Jean jackets are a very good

stylish look but if you are to

wear one then I think a nice

white skirt with a dark purple

top would fit well with it. Wear-

ing denim on denim is not my

first pick for jean jackets but

if the denim jeans are a very

dark color, then it fits per-

fectly for the tailgate you want

to go to.

Sandals are nice and can be very

stylish for the summer and

spring. But when the fall winds

come out and the winter snow

starts lurking around the cor-

ner, you need to wear something

closed toed. Ugg boots are al-

ways a popular trend around

Crestdale; yes they can be very

cute and comfortable. But I like

to change it up from time to

time. A fall shoe I adore the

most out of all are leather boots.

Leather boots give a spark of

style in the most plain of outfits,

you can throw them on and they

make jeans look like the newest

trends. I’m not saying go out and

buy some of those shoes but if

you want a resolution of a stylish

accessories you can go online and

search for DIYs.

I gave you two fashion ideas, but

my opinion won’t in the slightest

effect you. Strut your own per-

sonal style and of course keep it

school appropriate. Feel confi-

dent in the clothes you’re wear-

ing.

Once we start getting into the fall

time, its starts to get a bit chilly

outside. We all want to go home

and change into our pajamas then

snuggle up in our warm, cozy beds.

But most of October we will be

spending our time in school. My

question is, how can I be warm and

stylish at the same time? I took a

look at the latest fashion trends

and picked some school appropri-

ate ideas. So you can rock your

outfit while feeling confident in

yourself.

Jackets will always be a popular

pick in the fall, because of how

warm and snug it makes you feel

and of course it’s easy to throw

on. But you probably don’t want to

wear a too heavy jacket because

the soon the sun will peek out

from under the clouds and it might

get warm. I advise to either wear
