Wildcat Chorale and Treble Makers will have their Spring Concert in the Music Room on May 7th at 6pm! Please join us! Singers: don't forget large group rehearsal on May 6th from 3:30-5pm for both choirs! PIRATES! The Musical! 5th and 6th combined Musical Theatre Elective will be performing PIRATES! on May 16th at 6pm in the Music Room. Please join us for this hilarious show! Art Show Our 2019 Art Show was truly a "Dino-mite" event to remember. Thank you to all who were able to attend and join us in celebrating our artists and their work! The turnout was great, and our 3 fundraisers generated $1,040 for Dinosaur Ridge Museum! WOW! Our Stegosaurus "Sharpie" was a huge hit, and he got touched up and sent on his way to the museum on Friday. He will be featured in their "Find the Dinos" event each Saturday through June, where he will be "hidden" somewhere in Lakewood. I will send more information out as I receive it, but thank you to all who participated in these events and helped show our students how to make meaningful contributions and connections in the community. You can find pictures HERE. A tremendous thanks to all our parent, staff, and student volunteers who helped make this event possible. We couldn't have done it without you and your support! An especially grateful thanks goes to our wonderful Specials EA, Taleen Nothnagle, for being my partner in all things art and dinos for the past couple months. Her hard work and dedication to this show helped make it a great success. Congratulations to all our K-8 artists on their beautiful masterpieces, and all their creativity and time they've put into their work this year! See our "Staff Choice Award" winners from the show HERE. Way to go! ~Mrs. Fingland Looking for somewhere fun to send your kids this summer? Send them to Think Tech summer camp held at WWA. Our exciting STEM-based camps provide the traditional benefits of summer camp all while exploring fun and engaging technologies such as Robotics and 3D printing. Camps are offered in morning and afternoon sessions with lunch coverage provided if you decide to send your child for a full-day. Our morning session is focused on Robotics and we utilize LEGO WeDo, NXT, and EV3 robotic kits to provide activities for all age levels. Our afternoon camps are focused on Maker-style activities. Students learn new skills and have fun, especially when blasting rockets 300+ feet into the air! We offer 3 different weeks of camp, all held at Woodrow Wilson Academy. These camps are run by teachers and staff you know and trust. Drop-offs begin at 7:45 and pickup commences at 5pm.For more information, check out the attached flyer or feel free to give us a call. Music-Save the Dates!

Wildcat Chorale and Treble Makers will have their Spring Concert in the Music Room on May 7th at 6pm! Please join us! The Musical! 5th and 6th combined Musical Theatre Elective will be performing PIRATES! on May 16th at 6pm in the Music Room. Please join us for this hilarious show!

Art Show Our 2019 Art Show was truly a "Dino-mite" event to remember. Thank you to all who were able to attend and join us in celebrating our artists and their work! We offer exciting week-long summer camps at Woodrow WilsonAcademy, located in Westminster, CO.

 

Think Tech provides a variety of discounts for multiple student registrations. We do our best to maintain competitive rates and these fees do include camp consumables and a camp t-shirt.

Think Tech is hands-on with a 5:1 student/teacher ratio.

All camps are unique per session (students who do attend multiple weeks of camp will progress through many di�erent activities and will rarely find themselves repeating activities week-over-week)

Please note that lunch is not provided for full-day attendees but monitored recess/break is provided from 12-1pm

EXPLORE STEM Camp for Girls AND Boys entering 6th – 9th Grades

Focus: Computer Science (CS) Innovating creative solutions to everyday problems is a key element in the growing field of Computer Science. These solutions can extend beyond the form of blocks of code to utilizing physical objects in unique and interactive ways. During this camp, participants will form connections between computer programming and everyday objects using the Makey Makey invention kit, a tool that can transform

common items into a functioning keyboard, a controller, or any interactive system. Camp participants will use creativity to develop their own inventions!

Summer Piano Camp

Come to Piano Camp this summer and explore the basics of music making through fun hands-on games and

activities! Students will get to know the piano and enjoy developing skills in music reading, ear training, rhythm and more! All levels of experience welcome. No musical

experience necessary. Ages 6-14.

Piano Camp meets June 11, 12 and 13th in the Music room at WWA, from 8:30--11:80.

Cost is $100 per child. Checks payable to Liz Kullman. Multiple student discounts
