Happy Valentine’s Day!
The Palestine High School and Pales-tine Junior High School Choirs partici-pated in the Region 21 UIL Vocal Solo & Ensemble last week. There were 23 students from the PHS campus who received either a Superior or Excellent rating, and 5 of those students advanced to state. At PJHS, 15 students participated at the Solo & Ensemble competition and 14 received either a Superior or Excellent rating. This is exceptional because the majority of the students are new to choir. Best of luck to the students at state competition.
