Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village, is the main character of the game.Naruto signature move is the Rasengan. He is the host of the Nine-Tailed Fox Jinchuriki Spirit which is a beast with incredible powers and abilities. As the story progresses, Naruto goes from the village idiot to the village hero. Naruto is originally part of Squad 7 with three other ninja known as, Kakashi Hatake, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. In this game the world goes to war against a group of powerful ninjas known as the Akatsuki. The Akatsuki is a group of powerful and evil ninjas who hunt and capture Jinchuriki host, take the spirit of the Jinchuriki from within them and kill them. Naruto also is trying to rescue his "closest friend” Sasuke Uchiha has left the Hidden Leaf Village to pursue vengeance for his clan. Naruto’s ultimate dream is to one day be hokage.

After realizing Naruto could not beat Sasuke with his own strength, he calls to the Nine Tailed Fox(Kuruma) to lend him some power. Transforming into this state also has physical changes. Naruto's has an orange chakra glow around his body that is shaped like a fox. Naruto's stance is altered so he is position as if he was a fox. Naruto also has moves where he can extend the chakra limbs to attack.

After Orochimaru enrages Naruto by telling him how he is toying with Sasuke and planning to take his body Naruto losses controll and transforms into the Four-Tailed Form. Naruto physical appearance changes with this transformation also. Instead of the orange chakra aurora around his body , Naruto's skin peels off and starts to grow "fur". His eyes and mouth are hollowed out and all you can see is a white light. He also has a devastating new move where he launches a charged blast at the enemy destroying everything in sight.

After Practicing with His sensei Jiraya and a frog Naruto has learned  to master the Sage Jutsu. The Sage Mode puts him at one with the earth, and making him flow with nature. It also gives him hiegtened senses and increased power. It also helped him perfect his newest jutsu Rasen Shuriken.

After taking the chakra from Kuruma (Nine Tailed Fox) naruto goes into Nine Tailed Chakra mode. His speed gets incredibly faster, his power level is over 9000, and he can perform much more powerful moves..

Sasuke Uchiha is another playable character in the game.Sasuke's signature move is Chidori. Sasuke was a ninja of the hidden leaf village. When Sasuke was little his whole clan was brutally murdered by his older brother Itachi Uchiha. Sasuke has vowed to kill his older brother and avenge his clan. Sasuke leaves the hidden and goes to one of the  3 legendary Sannin, Orochimaru. Sasuke later then absorbs Orochimaru, taking his power. Sasuke then leaves his hideout in pursuit of his power. Sasuke finds and kills his brother and after killing him he falls unconscious. When he awakens his confronted by Madara Uchiha, formally known as Tobi. Madara then explains why Itachi had killed their entire clan. When Sasuke learns the truth he gets infuriated. He vows to destroy the Hidden Leaf. Sasuke joins the Akatsuki and captures the eight talis Jinchuriki ,Killer Bee. After returning him to the Akatsuki hideout , he hunts down Danzo, one of the Hidden Leaf elders and kills them. Sasuke later finds Naruto Uzumaki for thier final battle

Kakashi Hatake, son of the White Fang, is another playable character in the game.Kakashi's signature move is the Lighting Blade. Kakashi was the leader of Team 7 and the sensei of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. Kakashi is also known as The "Copy Ninja" because of his Sharingan giving him the ability to copy others moves. Although the Sharingan was part of the Uchiha Clan, Kakashi aquired it from an old friend, Obito Uchiha, as he was dying. Kakashi further developed the Sharingan into The Mangekyou Sharingan which gives him his special ability Kumai.

Sakura Haruno, a member of Team 7 alongside Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and under Kakashi Hatake's Leadership. Sakura is a medical ninja with overwhelming power . She aquired this power from one of the legendary sannin Tsunade. (Silver7919 side note-My most hated characer!)

Hinata is a member of the Hyuga clan with the doujustsu byakugan. She has a large crush on Naruto. In Naruto's battle against Pain, Hinata inturrupts the battle in an effort to save Naruto's Life. Pain was too powerful for Hinata and killed her extremely fast. Watching pain does this made Naruto lose his Temper and instantly tranform into the 6-tailed mode fox. Because of her troubles with the Hyuga clan, she often uses modified techniques i.e. 8 trigrams 64 palms guard and gentle step:twin lion fist.

Ultimate Adventure Mode

The Naruto series has had many characters throughout its run, and the latest game is no exception. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 brings an insane number of characters to the table. With nearly 90 playable ninja, and even more available for support, the world of Naruto brings a huge cast with it.

Free Roam

In Ultimate Adventure Mode (Story Mode), there are times between battles where you go to your next mission, find and accept side missions, find Items and tools, and explore the different cities.

Ultimate Decisions

Throughout the campaign you will have to make several decisions. These can innfluence story, difficulty, and even time.

Prolouge

When you first start, you are faced with your first decision.

If you pick legend, you will immediately faceoff against Tobi. The difficulty is 4.

If you pick hero, you will face the Kyuubi as Hiruzen. The difficulty is 1.

Chapter 1

In the middle of the Sasuke mission, Karin will stop you at a fork in the road. She informs you that both ways will take you where you want to go, but one side is more dangerous than the other.

If you pick legend, you will go left and face several waves of enemy samuri. 

If you pick hero, you will go to the right and go straight to Danzou.

Chapter 2  

At the end of the chapter, Naruto will face off against Sasuke. This is a more affected choice, as it determines how you fight this battle.

If you pick legend, you will flash back to the point in the begining of the Shippuden series, where you face off against Sasuke in Orichimaru's layer. 

If you pick hero, the fight will flash back to the valley of the end, where it is younger Naruto and young Sasuke in their powered up forms.

Chapter 4

At the begining of the Kurama boss fight, Killer Bee's hand will come up and talk to you. He will say he wants to help you fight the Nine Tails.

If you pick legend, Naruto will say this is something he needs to do on his own. Killer Bee will say he will offer advice and not physical support, and you will be on your own. 

If you pick Hero, Naruto will accept Killer Bee's help, and the Hachibi's icon will show up in support. You can use this to punch the nine tails, stunning him for a couple of easy hits.

Character Unlocks

How to Unlock Sasuke (Eternal Mangekyou)

In order to unlock this character you will need to finish Ultimate Adventure first. After all the boss battles and the last sequence you will be brought back to the village to perform extra missions and grab more collectibles. If want to play as Eternal Sasuke, first head over to the Hokage Carved Mountains. When you are just reaching the stairs to go upstairs there would be a frog named Gekomatsu at the left hand corner with a purple scroll sign above its head. Talk to him and fullfil his requirements.

Once you talk to him he will as you to grab 500 Chakra Fragments , do that and go talk to him again. Now comes the time consuming part. After you talk to him there will be a total of 5000 gems you have to collect and they are all over the village and the Shinobi world.

The easiest way to perform this is just roam around the village and collect them each time as the keep coming back after a 30-60 seconds. Once you collect the 1000,2000,3000,4000 and finally the 5000 Chakra Fragments (Don't worry each gem is worth 20 gems so you can find them and finish it quickly).Go talk to him again and he will tell you to go to the West of the Hidden Cloud Village. You will bascially have to make your way to the Forest of Quite Movement and look for a Purple Chakra Fragment. Once you reach there, a new chapter will trigger and you start playing as Sasuke Eternal Mangekyou.

Finish the Mission, Defeat Tobi and you will unlock him :)

Alternate unlock The other way to unlock EMS Sasuke is if you amass 1,500,000 ryo. It is similar to the conditions of every other character in the game, but the total is extremely high and will take quite a while.
