TECHNICAL NOTES1) NEW ANTI BURGLARY KITS FOR HINGES FOR MECHANICA HINGESCompared to the previous versions currently in the catalogue, the new kits are supplied in packs containing a reinforced pin (cemented) that replaces the standard type during application of the MECHANICA hinge.This variation was considered necessary in order to improve the hinge’s resistance against burglaries, enabling the same hinges to pass a cutting test that was not in the standards before they were revised.In fact, thanks to this modification, these kits now satisfy the new requirements demanded by the standards EN1627 - EN1630, maintaining the SKG anti-burglar 2 class, where used with 2 MECHANICA hinges, and class SKG 3 where used with 3 MECHANICA hinges.
2) SKG SECURITY KIT + BI-DIRECTIONAL BOLTBy using this protection system, you prevent direct access to the lever for moving the bi-directional bolt (our item 1537/1537.1). The system can be combined with existing components for item 3200.837.Thanks to this additional security, we have passed the SKG test (standards from EN1627 to EN1630) with a double leaf window. Currently, the system has obtained certification in anti-burglar class 2 (RC2 - WK2) from the SKG institute for the double leaf version of RIBANTA INCANTO+ and we are also working towards obtaining the same certification for the double leaf version of RIBANTA 5.
