When you first step into the front of McLean, you notice our beautiful Outdoor Classroom which was made possible by the work and contribution of Nick Meyer! It’s a special place that will be enjoyed time and time again for our students. Hand-made seats and benches help bring learning to life!

Mr. Snook helps us every week with our outdoor sign and our families know what’s going on at school because of his work. He does it with a smile, rain or shine. We are so grateful for the commitment to our school and the support he shows us on a daily basis. Thanks, Mr. Snook!

Hope works in a very intensive support environment at Stucky, working with students in the Academic Life Skills classroom. The time she puts into these students is incredible. Hope has connected with many regular ed students that have spent time in ISS often going to them after they serve ISS.

We are grateful to Dr. Jones for subbing for us in 8th grade social studies class. She joined us in December and instantly built trust with students, staff and parents. As she is a highly sought after sub, we appreciate her smooth transition and commitment to quality instruction for our students.

On her third day of subbing, EVER, Tia Jones impressed us so much we offered her a long term position in 7th grade language arts. Some people are just naturally talented when it comes to teaching students and Tia has not let her lack of experience deter her from her commitment to learning.

Barbara has the ability to provide differentiated support to various learners, she collaborates well with colleagues in all stages of effective teaching: planning, implementing, and evaluating, thus demonstrating her ongoing desire to continu-ally improve her effective teaching strategies.

Our children have benefited from this amazing teacher who has gone above and beyond during her service to USD 259 and Woodland Health and Wellness Magnet. We truly believe Teresa Sullivan is providing an impressive service to our stu-dents, staff and our community.

Carol is masterful at teaching math. She gives her students the confidence they need to be successful, and treats them with dignity and respect. Every day she plans engaging rigor-ous activities to help close the gaps of kids who are struggling to catch up.
