With over a dozen years of experience at the helm of several advertising and design agencies, his resume includes a diverse mix of clients from community foundations to Fortune 100s. Vantage West Credit Union was falling out of touch with the public and falling further behind the big banks. We helped them understand that getting to the heart is just as important as getting to the wallet.

After several unsuccessful campaigns aimed at soliciting work from large advertising agencies, commercial photography, Kevin Anderson, asked WHYFOR for some assistance. To get Kevin’s amazing portfolio pieces past the agency gatekeepers, we developed the “Think before you click” campaign, a tongue in cheek effort to disparage the
use of cheap (“dollar menu”) stock photography. We delivered the messaging and portfolio in the form of a fast food lunch filled with messaging, capabilities and of course “the beef.”
SELF LOVE: WHYFOR received a NATIONAL ADDY award for this campaign. Oh right, Kevin also had a response rate of over 64%

Savvy Navigator came to WHYFOR needing a re-brand and marketing campaign to help sell their luxury travel consulting and packages. Having serviced a predominantly LGBT audience for its first 10 years, the owners found their attention to details, property relationships and creative travel packages in demand by
travelers of all colors and stripes.
WHYFOR responded with a complete refresh of the logo, color palette and tagline that infused the brand with elegant and luxurious touches that brings the feel of a global travel consulting agency and encourages
travelers to “take flight” and let Savvy Navigator can “show them the way!”

Looking to grow $40M in new investment accounts, Vantage West challenged us with attracting first time investors (and thoroughly initiated) to the savings party. Our solution was to take the edge off investing and
catch attention with a series of playful headlines.

DEAD PRESIDENTS
Arizona Sports Medicine Center needed to separate themselves from the pack. Despite being the market leader and official doc shop of most professional teams in Arizona, ASMC was getting lost in the competitive shuffle.
WHYFOR developed a new “WHERE THE PROS GO.” marketing and advertising campaign that cut through the noise and left the competition in the dust.

How do you convince the average kid on campuses to open a checking account? Snark and the chance to win $1500 to make over their dorm room. WHYFOR developed a series of ads rooted in the trending “said no one ever” saying that spread like wildfire through conversation and social media on college campus’. The concept entertains by tying clever sayings with “reality based” photography that reflecting the mundane and often uninspired interiors of dorm
and college housing.
A second option, “DUDE-LER”, is based on humorous hand drawn “doodles” (pearls of wisdom) relating to typical college life and the reflected benefits of winning the $1,500 giveaway.

After spending two years creating an amazing line of full leaf tea blends, Paromi Tea was faced with the challenge of bringing their unique products to market. WHYFOR was invited to develop the brand and
marketing channels for the fledgling tea maker in a market dominated by multinational corporations and established specialty tea companies.
After fully immersing ourselves in the story of how Paromi teas are created we developed a complete family of elegant graphics, playful taglines, e-commerce site, and marketing and advertising messaging.
WHYFOR gave this growing luxury brand a seat at the table with the large international tea brands with creative that looked the part, just like Paromi’s teas.
