Today there are no excuses for not knowing what your customers
want, with social
media you can communicate with your customers and increase your
bottom line in the
process. Whats the point? If you dont have a twitter, facebook
or a linked in page,
youre not running a real business.
Why is Social Media a Must Have
Everyone no matter their age or location is using social media.
You have marketers,
businesses, non-profits and individuals logging on every day.
What does this mean tothe business world? It means that you can
connect and stay up to date with what
consumers want. Social media allows you to connect in ways that
you couldnt connect
before which is directly.
Social Media, allows potential customers to click a small like
button, and then boom
your business is in there. The potential customer has allowed
you to send updates,
promotions, and cool tidbits about your business. What more can
you ask for? You are
connecting your business with someone that is interested in your
product.
Social Media is Crawling into the Mobile Phones
When your potential customers are at home, they log on to their
computers, and visit
their favorite social networking site. In todays fast paced
world just about everyone has
a mobile phone, so why go through the process of getting on the
computer? Mobile
phones have made it easier to connect to social media; your
potential customer could
receive your updates at the local grocery store, gym or coffee
house. Most of your
customers dont have time to boot up the computer, but they do
have time to pull a
phone out of their pocket and press the facebook button.
People are always on their mobile phone because they are super
convenient and easier
to use than a bulky computer. Your company needs to have a
social media presence in
order to survive, if your company doesnt have time to build a
social media presence,
then maybe you should hire a company to establish one for you,
if you dont your
business will definitely be left behind. Its not enough to just
throw together some
business cards, television ads or posters. You have to have an
online presence of some
kind because everyone is heavily involved in the internet.
Having a social media
campaign that will blow your competition out of the water, will
show your potential
