There are no age restrictions and exams can be completed in any order, so if you have never taken a LAMDA Examination before, you don’t necessarily have to start at Entry Level.

BE PART OF LAMDA EXAMINATIONS

AS A LEARNER (OR PARENT)Typically Learners work with a LAMDA Teacher to choose the LAMDA Qualification they would like to sit, decide the level that’s right for them and prepare for the exam. You can find a Teacher in your area using the Directory of LAMDA Teachers on our website. Learners are also free to prepare for exams without the assistance of a Teacher. In that instance, Learners can then take their exam at one of our public centres.

AS A TEACHERThose new to teaching are strongly advised to complete the LAMDA Diploma in Communication, Speech and Drama Education (LSDE) or the LAMDA Certificate in Speech and Drama: Performance Studies (PCertLAM) in order to teach Learners and prepare them for LAMDA Examinations.

AS AN EXAMINERLAMDA Examiners are experts in their fields and have been trained and standardised by LAMDA to assess Learners fairly and objectively. As the popularity of our qualifications continues to grow, we are always keen to hear from prospective examiners.
