The mid-western states experience all different types of weather and it can change quickly. Watching the weather ahead of time prepares us for rain, storms, snow, hot and cold weather among many other things.

It may rain, sleet or storm so taking an umbrella or raincoat is a good idea

We have to prepare for wind too! It’s a good idea to have a jacket handy.

We start to wear shorts and flip-flops on warm days!
